Saw that coming ...

I do not support Marshal Law.

If the fix is in, fine. I just don't want to hear one single bitch when the next election goes down in similar fashion and it's the other side cheating like a 20-year-old fake-tit trophy wife.
Marshal Law, the English language super hero comic book series created by Pat Mills and Kevin O'Neill? Or are you just spelling challenged?

So, I've often wondered if Trump and his backers weren't actually working to destroy the Republican party. Is this their endgame? They're going to lose the Senate too if they don't put a lid on their nutjobs.

You assume those nutjobs don't represent a sizeable number of the Trump/GOP base.
Yeah. This is a real problem going forward for the party, which will have to find a way to both stay relevant and placate a large percentage of the party that is simply not connected.
large percentage of the party that is simply not connected... To reality.

Wasn't an endorsement by Flynn.. It was a retweet to make certain that others had seen the ad calling for "martial law".. Very few patriots are gonna support that call..

So much horseshit going down today from everywhere and all sides.. Claims that Biden said he would quit if he disagreed with Harris and invent an disease to blame it on.. And THIS crap by a group that nobody's ever heard of before..

Twitter is a cesspool and public health hazard.. Needs to get nuked.. We'd all be better off...
It is an excellent source of human dysfunction.

I'm pretty sure that's what Mac meant.

It seems like the bulk of our dysfunction as a nation is centered on a loss of faith in our public institutions: government, the media, academia, the scientific community. Trumpsters have decided Alex Jones is more credible than Walter Cronkite, and that burning it all down is better than the status quo.

You didn’t here it in 2016.

Too right about Twitter. It removes the filter between thought and tweet, and by the time you make the connection, it has circled tbe globe a hundred times.

EDIT: this is more to the point I was trying to make...

I wondered that myself. Trump does all he can with his mouth and fingers to alienate people.

To me it does not matter what he says or does. A vote for a dem is always worse. That is why it does not matter what he does. And if it did matter, what would I do? Not vote for Trump so the dems can confiscate my guns and turn America into Mexico?

Unless they shifted gears in a major way, I could never vote for a Democrat. But that doesn't mean I'll vote for a jackass like Trump instead. Even if I thought Trump would drive policies that I'd prefer, he's such an abysmal person that his endorsement is curse. I'd rather let those I utterly disagree with have a turn, just so we can cleanse ourselves of Trump's deranged mindset.

People are clearly still not happy with the Democrat's status quo. Republicans gained in the House. Trump almost beat them - after so many had predicted a landslide. We can hope that Biden will work for the unity he claims he wants, and put an end to the "elections have consequences" mindset. He says he wants to be a leader for everyone, not just those who voted for him. Let's hope he does.

But let's also recognize that the odds of that happening are vanishingly slim. And we'll need leaders who can present a compelling case for why the Democrats are wrong. Trump can't do that. He does the opposite. He confirms their every misgiving. He lives up to the stereotype of conservatives as conceited, authoritarian bullies. He creates more socialists than Democrats do.

If ending the R party is their end game, we need to help them.

Not sure you mean by "we", but I think Democrats have been very helpful - maybe even instrumental - in pushing Trump to the front of the Republican Party.

“We” is anyone who isn’t an idiot partisan of the two crime families. Kill one and with any luck, we’d get the second one too.

I was referring more to the video - which is Lin Wood telling Trump supporters to not vote in the GA runoffs.

That sounds really smart.

It's easy to be a fence sitter.

Go fuck yourself.

I’m not the fence sitter. You and your kind are, but you’re too dumb to know it.

What's amazing to me is that the people who complain about Trump being raw and unfiltered and exaggerating stuff ---- seem to be some of the SAME FOLKS that spend way too much time on Twitter...

Go figure that one out.. :stir: I think they're just jealous that he's such a superior troll..

Trump is the crazy girl the GOP brought home after a night of drinking. She was a lot of fun, but the next day she's texting you every 10 minutes, and telling everyone that you're now a couple.

So, how many times have you been involved in that sort of thing?

and how did the guy react?

Republicans have been angry with the GOP for a long time. Trump was supposed to be the answer to that.

I'm not sure where that leaves them but the lies that the Republican base has been told by the Party aren't about to stop now.

if they don't put a lid on their nutjobs.
That's an antebellum Democrat sexual fetish. They shoot up females in the womb with bovine testosterone to cause them to retain testicles and develop masculine rather than feminine features. The gentlemen of the district wanted slaves, and they wanted to raise females as males for slavery.

Yes, and they didn't decide this on their own. They may have had some frustrations here and there, but there are people who drove them over the edge, people who have a clear & vested professional interest in doing so, and I don't think their identities are exactly a secret.

I complain(ed) about him being petty, vindictive and lying all the time. You guys want to write of his horrible behavior and delusional "salesmanship" (lying) as though it has no bearing, as though it's not harmed our nation. But it has a real impact. It drives ever-greater social unrest - and the violence that goes with it. It leads people astray who are eager to believe his bullshit. It gets people killed and it's done lasting harm to our government.
