Instead of a forced transition to EV, why don't we just up our grants for green energy? We can say we are leading the world on creating clean fuel ideas, while at the same time ramping back up our gas and fuel production. To make it better, we can create things that don't need Chinese Materials. Right now, China is laughing its butt off at Western Society tanking their economies while at the same time being forced to buy things China controls. We can save the polar bears by being the green leader in technology, take a market away from China, and let Europe, Australia, and Canada chop wood. In about thirty years, when the technology is good enough, maybe people would actually CHOOSE it as a better option. Would the left and the greenies accept such an arrangement?
