Saudi Arabia's Minister of State: It's Biden's Fault US Gas Prices Are High, Because President Hasn't Increased Domestic Oil Production

All you keep saying is how weak US Oil Companies are yet cannot provide justification or even explanation for Biden’s US Energy Policies.

Weak? Nope. Do you want the president to take over US oil companies?

the xiden admin was begging OPEC+ (which includes Russia) to increase projection as he wages his war on the american energy sector…they gave him the finger. Now he’s begging the brutal dictatorship in venezuela

this guy just hates high paying jobs in america and affordable energy for the american people

Prove it.

Too funny. You aren't a bright one. Google is your friend.

EPA deals blow to major oil refinery, citing environmental justice concerns over toxic air

June 2022 Denial of Petitions for RFS Small Refinery Exemptions

On June 3, 2022, EPA announced the denial of 69 petitions from small refineries seeking small refinery exemptions (SREs) from the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) program for one or more of the compliance years between 2016 and 2021.

Chevron CEO Mike Wirth does not expect another oil refinery to be built in the United States ever again, due to federal government policies. The last significant refinery built in the United States was in 1976. (A small refinery came online in 2020 in North Dakota). Over the last two years, due to reduced demand from the pandemic and Presidnt Biden’s stated policy to reduce the demand for petroleum products, U.S. refineries have been shut down or repurposed to become biofuel refineries. In a business where investments have a payout period of a decade or more, it is unlikely for investment to be spent on policies where the demand is to be reduced. Wirth stated rhetorically, “How do you go to your board, how do you go to your shareholders and say ‘we’re going to spend billions of dollars on new capa

The Colorado refinery is 90 years old and exceeds pollution limits. Didn't you read it?

OPEC adjusts their production to counter any increase in US production to keep the price right where they want it. Any idiot knows that by now.

So where would you prefer the money to go to, US producers or countries that hate the US. Also explain why congress blocked Trump from filling the Strategic Oil Reserves when he could have bought it for $15 a barrel.

.

It should be abundantly clear to you by now that we can't drill our way off the Saudi oil teat. They have us by the balls and there is nothing that can be done about it other than decreasing the demand.

That's just a lie, we have greater reserves than they do. And much greater reserves of natural gas. We could easily offset their attempts to manipulate the market.

Spoken like a true man with common sense. The Saudi's and Opec+ have given the Usurper the finger on the international stage. The Minister is basically saying if Biden had left Trump's domestic Oil and Gas policies in place instead of knee jerk reversing them by executive order on inauguration day, we'd be enjoying cheap gas by the gallon today and our strategic oil reserves would have not had to have been opened. Again, common sense!

Trump is a Saudi asseater & owned by them, so of course you MAGATards follow suit.

Way to go, halfwit.

He said, he blamed Joe Biden for higher gas prices after claiming the president should have extracted more oil from US wells. In Saudi Arabia the government can make that happen but in the US, the president or for that matter the US government can not make wells more productive. Apparently this Saudi offical was pretty naïve when it comes to presidential powers.
