Roe v. Wade getting overturned!!

Why do you see life as unworthy?
The world is already overpopulated and you want to make things even worse by bringing more people into it and especially ones with terrible health problems that aren't likely to survive anyway. That is not a life I would care to live. Everything serves a purpose. Abortion has contributed to saving the human race up to this point. OVERPOPULATION is not addressed and the biggest problem this world has , creating and worsening all our other problems. I hope you can figure that much out.

As more and more states are proving, murder is not anyone's choice. LOL, keep grasping.

Some have restricted women's rights. More have expanded them.

Since the U.S. Supreme Court's Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization decision in June 2022, which overturned Roe v. Wade, 24 U.S. states have either:
  • Banned abortion outright,
  • Imposed severe restrictions, or
  • Are likely to do sobased on legislative or judicial actions

Key Highlights:

  • 13 states have implemented near-total abortion bans, many with no exceptions for rape or incest.
  • Several others have enacted gestational limits (e.g., 6-week or 12-week bans).
  • Some states, like Alabama, have gone further by affecting access to IVF and contraception, following court rulings that define embryos as children

  • Legal battles are ongoing in states like Iowa, Utah, and Wyoming, where bans have been temporarily blocked.
This patchwork of laws has created a highly fragmented landscape for reproductive rights in the U.S., with many people forced to travel out of state for care or face limited options

Since 2017, at least 23 U.S. states have taken steps to restore or expand women's rights, particularly in areas such as:

1. 23 states have adopted constitutional amendments or provisions that prohibit discrimination based on sex

  • These ERAs often provide stronger protections than federal law. For example:
    • Nevada passed the most inclusive ERA in 2022, covering sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, and pregnancy outcomes.
    • New York is set to vote on a similar ERA in 2024.

2. Several states have codified abortion rightsinto state law or constitutions since the Dobbs decision in 2022.

  • Examples include California, Vermont, Michigan, and Colorado.
  • Others have expanded access to:
    • Contraceptives
    • Fertility treatments
    • Medicaid family planning services

3. States like Illinois, Washington, and Oregonhave passed laws to:

  • Ensure equal pay
  • Expand paid family leave
  • Protect against gender-based violence and harassment

If Congress would have done their jobs, back in the 70’s then abortion would have been a done deal, instead the two parties wanted an edge issue so they did nothing.

Stop the gaslighting. Abortion has absolutely nothing to do with reproduction. Quite the opposite. It is MURDER. If it was reproduction we wouldn't be having this conversation. Try again.

Agreed , it takes two to tango.

It was maybe 20 years ago that I calculated the land just in Texas and counted the world's population and explained on a forum that the population of the world could live on a decent plot of land in TX.

This ^^^ is pure unadulterated BS. Only a very small percentage of abortions are performed because of fetal abnormalities or the health of the mother. Educate yourself.
The reasons most frequently cited were that having a child would interfere with a woman's education, work or ability to care for dependents (74%); that she could not afford a baby now (73%); and that she did not want to be a single mother or was having relationship problems (48%). Nearly four in 10 women said they had completed their childbearing, and almost one-third were not ready to have a child. Fewer than 1% said their parents' or partners' desire for them to have an abortion was the most important reason. Younger women often reported that they were unprepared for the transition to motherhood, while older women regularly cited their responsibility to dependents.

Starvation must of course also be approved; by you.

Whatever I've heard this argument over and over from anti-abortion freaks. It's a stupid word game. None of them ever told me why it should be legal to prevent a woman from having an abortion because she doesn't want a child. There are a million different reasons not to bring a new life into this world. Only one good one to do so.

Funny I celebrate my birth date. Sorry you don't. How do you even know what your conception date was ? Did you get that put on your driver's license. How did you get a social security number on your conception date. Wonders never cease. Ever hear of the breath of life. That's when everything starts.
What you tell us here is your birth was a massive mistake made by your mother.

.

There have been so many different calculations that prove we are far from overpopulated and have plenty of land for growing food.

Very imaginative of you but it simply doesn't add up. Actually it does add up and it's still way to many people for this earth to support in a sustainable manner. And that's with everyone cooperating. We don't even have that in our country anymore , nevermind the entire world. It's not desirable period. We've done this to ourselves. If there really was a god in the religious sense it would have said , " Go forth and multiply BUT don't overdo it. A billion is the very most you want to get your numbers up to. After that you're on your own. "

Again , not true , the Supreme Court screwed it up royally against the wishes of the majority. Roe vs Wade was the right thing to do . Now we have to do it all over again because the Republican legislatures in states are passing even worse abortion laws. Causing more women to die .
Like I've said, when the people don't agree with you, it can't be because you're in the minority, there has to be something wrong with the system.

Your book is wrong the definition the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another. And as a verb, kill (someone) unlawfully and with premeditation.

You must be from another planet.

Mike Johnson voted in the US Congress to overturn the 2020 election on January 6-7, 2021

Without this white Republican Christian nationalist person and all the religious zealots united under the Republican Party Churched Voter Block like him pushing lawmakers at the state and federal level to deny women their right to privacy with regard to their reproductive choices in a free society ~ there would be zero abortion bands in America in the 21st Century.

Johnson voted to throw out 80 million votes for Joe Biden in November 2020 so that Donald Trump could serve in a second term for Yahweh!

are you saying “the Guardian” is reporting something “Folse” about Mike Johnsonm

If so, what is it?

Johnson is continuing this white republican Christian nationalist movement tied mostly to banning abortion and making women subservient to a Christian male dominated government
