Over three days, February 1–3, House managers took videotaped closed-door depositions from Monica Lewinsky, Clinton's friend Vernon Jordan, and White House aide Sidney Blumenthal.

It's Okay When Republicans Do It!™
Not the same. this was after articles were voted on, and during the actual impeachment process. The house managers were acting as prosecutors during the Trial portion in the Senate.
Although proceedings were delayed due to the
bombing of Iraq, on the passage of
H. Res. 611, Clinton was
impeached on December 19, 1998, by the House of Representatives on grounds of perjury to a
grand jury (by a 228–206 vote)

Next time read harder.
You seem to think witnesses can only be interviewed behind closed doors on a Tuesday after 7 pm when it is raining and it is a Republican hearing.
You can keep moving the goalposts, parrot, but it isn't working.
The purpose of a closed door hearing does not change with the party in power or the matter being investigated. Try to get that through your thick skull.
The goalposts aren't being moved. I am providing the facts of the situation you are falsely trying to present as an equivalent situation to what is described in the OP.
The "closed sessions" during the ACTUAL IMPEACHMENT were depositions given to create a record of the testimony. As in any trial the depositions are given as a written backup to the questioning testimony during the live trial. Depositions by their nature are not open to the public.
Be man enough to admit you were wrong and the two situations are not even remotely similar.
I figure you are too far gone to even be honest enough.
Factually, there are so many mistakes in your post that its not even gibberish, Marty. To begin with, congressional proceedings and hearings have entirely different rules from any civil or criminal court proceeding.
Congress has no duty, under either party, to make any hearing, or portion of a hearing, public. And the gop has hid stuff too.
But as G5000 posted, the dems have every intention of making all information from the Schiff hearings public, eventually. They are not making it public now because they don't want tomorrows' witnesses to know exactly what someone else said. But the dems' entire purpose is to build some facts that embarrassing show Trump as a person who misused his power. They know the gop senate isn't kicking Trump out. But they want to build facts for the campaign.
Tres Gowdy tried the same thing with Benahazigate.
