Rent is skyrocketing in Vegas

Housing has been snapped up so fast & at such high prices in Vegas that most regular folks are priced out, putting more pressure on rental housing just as half of tenants haven't been able to pay rent due to the Democrat CovidScam Lockdowns.

Fewer units, people pouring in, landlords desperate to make up their losses.

An utter Democrat-created shitstorm.

From what I have read recently, the median home price in Las Vegas is about $275,000, which is significantly less than most of Southern California.

Renters are facing the same predicament of increasing housing costs as well as overall cost of living all over America.

As far the political side of it, the ratio of Democrats versus Republicans is relatively close in the state of Nevada, so if political parties are to blame, both parties obviously share equal responsibility for what's going on there.

That's only part of the problem.

The Democrats have wrecked the country with their terrorism and CovidScam, but Vegas will be the leading edge of the national collapse.

Grapes of Wrath stuff, as Nevada has become California's dumping ground.
Trump was in charge so you better not leave him out of the picture.

Housing prices are climbing in most states.

I don't live in Vegas(I'm assuming that you do),so I'm not as informed about the real estate market there as someone who does.

However, buying real estate in any market typically requires verifiable income, a down payment and credit worthiness.

If those components are intact, there is usually an option that is better than paying rent for everyone.
Yes.

I follow a number of markets, including Vegas.

In Vegas right now, all that + full cash ask + 10%/20% cash premium; the ordinary person is barred from owning & is forced to rent in an impossible market.

If one can work from home after moving to Bumfuck, South Dakota, perhaps.

Much higher, and all cash + cash premium - IF you can find anything - but less than SoCal, of course.

Yes, and it's incendiary in Vegas, in part because of Joading Californians.

Democrat state, and thus an increasing mess, especially with refugees from Democrat California Joading in; while both parties are criminal gangs, the DemocraTaliban has created an incendiary mess that is about to explode with Vegas as the epicenter.

100% on the terrorist CovidScam actions of the DemocraTaliban.

But this was coming - everywhere - eventually; it's just that the Democrats poured gasoline on the country for 5 long years, and greatly accelerated the Hell that's now about to break loose.

thats right it is around 50/50...

He's full of prophecy; Vegas is the perfect storm of Democrat destruction.

Few new housing units being built, mass unemployment, half the city behind on rent, people pouring in from California, homelessness exploding, the biggest rent increases in the entire country, no affordable housing anywhere.

Raisin in the sun.
"few new housing units being built"? Have you even BEEN to Vegas lately? They are building like crazy.
