Oh, Gosh, Sen. Feinstein's at It Again

During the first day of questioning at his Senate confirmation hearings for Supreme Court chief justice, John Roberts was asked about his religious views by Sen. Diane Feinstein, D-Calif.

"In 1960," she noted, "there was much debate about President John F. Kennedy's faith and what role Catholicism would play in his administration. At that time, he pledged to address the issues of conscience out of a focus on the national interests, not out of adherence to the dictates of one's religion." She quoted JFK as saying,"I believe in an America where the separation of church and state is absolute," and then delivered what was supposed to be a hard-hitting coup de grace: "My question is: Do you?"

Feinstein and the Newdow types are nothing more than useful idiots of the communist left who promote such misguided thinking for their own individual selfish purposes.

If we were to take God...and that is spelled with an "o", not a hyphen, thank you very much...out of our country, we would lose our freedoms.

Our founders established America's freedoms upon the unalienable Rights endowed by our Creator. That means nobody can take away those freedoms because they come from God. If we take God out of the equation, that means our Rights can be taken away from us because the government - run by imperfect men - will step into God's place. That is the exact goal of today's communistic forces.

We need to be able to shout God from the highest rooftops in this country and in all the public squares - including courts, schools, government buildings, and anywhere else. In no way does that mean anybody has to follow a certain religion, join a church, or say a Christian prayer. That is your absolute freedom. But if we lose our freedom OF religion, our freedom to express our religion, we will eventually lose all of our other freedoms as well.
