Recently revealed information asserts that former Trump AG Bill Barr was the mastermind behind the Fani Willis RICO case against Trump and his posse. Fani Willis, who previously thought that Rico was a character in an old gangster movie, was coaxed and brought along by Barr, who advised her that a RICO case was the easiest way to attack Trump because it could be based on just about any fact pattern.

Communications with the infamous Judge Marchan hint that - are you ready for this? - it all may have been a coordinated conspiracy to bring Trump down and prevent him from ever running for office again.

Christopher ("Ray Ray") Wray also comes out looking as bad as anyone else after sending an FBI Goon Squad to Mexico to try to arrest and detain the brave whisteblower who brought these allegations to the FBI's attention.

So for the umpteenth time, we are forced to conclude that Trump was right all along.

Do you think that the New York Times will carry this story in it's storied Sunday edition? Or will they simply ignore it?

Interesting but will reserve any conclusions without some more corroboration. I'm not familiar with this particular publication. My initial gut reaction is that this doesn't sound like Bill Barr to me. But it wouldn't be the first time somebody really disappointed me.

I had previously done some armchair sleuthing about DA Fani Willis. And I assume it’s true: she has made a career around press worthy cases involving RICO. Therefore, I doubt she needed to be lectured in using it as a strategy by Barr.

She used it against some school teachers, I think that's the only success she's had with RICO (if you can call that a success).

Her case against the rappers imploded.

The one against Trump may be dismissed by the appeals court down there, it's another one of those "indefinite holds".
