Self-proclaimed “real nigga,” Snoop Dogg (or is it ‘Snoop Lion’?) ain’t happy with the newest version of ‘Roots’ set to be released today. In his own words, Snoop tells us that “I’m sick of this shit!” and “**** y’all, I ain’t watching that shit” and “They gonna just keep beating dat’ shit into our heads how they did us, huh?”

Yes, my “real nigga,” they are. But it’s not really about you or even your ‘peeps.’ It’s about brow-beating the White man. ‘Roots’ is not about Blacks or even slavery per se, it’s about how evil the White man was and still is. It’s about making Whites feel inferior, and subjugating them before the mass of low-IQ knuckle-draggers like yourself that have infested our society.

Hell, Alex Haley’s work wasn’t even based on his ancestry or even originated from his own mind. He plagiarized it from another author,none other than a White man in fact!

Yo! Alex Haley's NOVEL (that's FICTION, mind) was a good book. So many people are trying to say slavery was okay or didn't happen because he used another guy's ancestor research as one of the characters early in the book? Not that I'm a fan of plagarism, but it doesn't exactly wipe out the nastiness of slavery in this nation.

I taped the first two episodes of the new one and checked them out this morning. (I fast forwarded through a LOT of it). It is a very violent, action packed remake. The African is even more likeable than the first one, but other than that--it's a snore. The new generation apparently can't focus its attention on anything but blood, guts and violence. A little scary, if you think about it.
