Another interesting rating, which may partially explain the recent bump in Trump's approval rating to a point never experienced during his presidency to date, is the complete reversal in the public's approval rating on Trump's handling of the coronavirus over the past month, and demonstrating a steadily climbing approval rating among Americans.
By comparison, the same recent polling data reflects abysmal and steadily crashing approval ratings for members of Congress, including:
Nancy Pelosi, with a 38% approval rating: RealClearPolitics - Election Other - Nancy Pelosi: Favorable/Unfavorable
and
Chuck Schumer, with a 30.3% approval rating:
Also noteworthy, the last time the overall approval rating for Congress was above 30% was in early 2009, when a slight boost in approval was shown based on some Americans having confidence in Congress to help with the financial crisis caused by the real estate market crash (that boost was short lived, however). No such boost in American confidence is occurring in the face of this economic crisis:
