A Jan. 6 rioter who was falsely accused by Donald Trump of being a government agent was sentenced Tuesday to a year of probation for his actions during the attack on the Capitol.

Commentary:
Proud Boy gets 22 years and wasn’t even at the Capitol.
Epps didn't sit in a cell without a trial for the past three years when other people have. Something off about this conviction.
Ray Epps was hired help, a contractor hired as an agent provocateur, something the Feds often do when they want to criminalize a protest and get convictions.
First, he allowed his AP actions be DOCUMENTED on video, in this day when anyone is findable from just appearing on video. Old man not up on the times.
Then, someone in the FBI failed to prevent him from briefly appearing on the Ten Most Wanted, then suspiciously being removed.
Now, they’re painted into corner where their choices are blowing up the official J6 narrative by admitting Epps and many others in attendance were on the payroll, or giving Epps a soft sentence (and probably high compensation to keep his silence) hoping for the best.

The more amazing thing is that Ray Epps has filed suit against Tucker Carlson and others who have pointed out his participation and statements from Jan 5-6, stating his reputation was ruined and he was subject to harassment by others that he has not filed suit against.
Ray got a soft treatment and may yet get rich off his role and actions on Jan 5-6
It is as perverse as Hunter Biden getting rich off his unethical and criminal (alleged) actions and appearance that he is still involved in influence selling etc.
