Rape, incest and pregnancy

I freely admit Abortion should be allowed in this case. Now are you ready to admit when some chick who just does not want to be pregnant has an abortion. That that is ******* horrible and wrong.

The first half....thank you....thank you for not being like Divecon and disagreeing just to disagree.

The other half, is a pro life, and pro choice argument and that is not the purpose of this thread.

That's MISTER Dishonest ******* Moron to you, sir.

You're the one advocating killing someone who never did anything to deserve it. How cold is that, denying the beautiful gift of life to someone just for convenience? You are a heartless bastard as well as a brainless one.
There is no evidence the infant is defective in any way. You made that one up.
There is a severe shortage of adoptable children in this country. Just ask anyone who wants to adopt. That child will have no problem finding a decent loving home. Of course if you have your way he/she will end up in the trash bin.

What about the life of the victim here...the 10 year old who was raped by her father? What about her life? You would actually make her go through that? What the **** kind of human being are you?

Are you honestly comparing emotional pain with death? Are you really?

So, **** that 10 year old and lets let her child go to an adoption agency. Whould you adopt that child?

You are the coldest person in here dude. Wow. Tell that 10 year old she HAS to have that baby even though she was raped by her father...HER FATHER... Since you are so hard core pro life, if they said if that baby was born and it would kill the mother, so what? Seriously, at what point would you say an abortion is ok?

WOW. I wonder, are you a left or right leaning person?

What happens to the infant Rabbi? What happens to the infant born to a child who was raped by her father? You guys always scream about how important life is, but never talk about the child after it is born. You do realize there is a great chance there will be something seriously wrong with the infant and we all know the mother is just gone for the rest of her life. But so what, abortion is wrong even in the case of incest and rape, righty?

Weak ass excuse but I will let it slide I guess. lol

have you ever wondered what if all the aborted children had been born....where would they be...schools etc...how many more people do you claim it woud result in?

There have been 24 million abortions in 2010

And how many children would each adult in this country have to adopt to cover that many? Oh that's right they don't actually want to adopt them they just want them born.

Rabbi, just so its a nice little quote...

If a 10 year old is raped by her father, she should be made to give birth to that child? No distractions, no diversions, yes or no.

Horrible. No one pretends this is an easy call. But if we hold life to be sacred then we sacrifice some shorter term inconvenience and pain for life.

Seriously, how cold are you? What about that little girl who is reminded over and over of that rape? how cold are you?

I have never, ever heard of an elected official saying if a person is raped by her father, she should be forced to have that child. That is just astonishing to me. She has access to changing laws? Oh dear god.

You know, Rabbi, the world is a cold cruel place. Im sure I dont have to tell you that. People die. Arab babies die in Afghanistan everyday. You know that but I dont see you telling anyone we need to stop the war....wait...you do now since its Obamas war.

If a child is raped by a family member and becomes pregnant, that fetus should be aborted. The main reason is is that that unborn fetus, though you would disagree with me, is nothing but a speck of flesh inside a pubescent body. Not only is this child mentally scarred but her family will be as well.

Im not willing to disallow this child an abortion just because you think they shouldnt.

Dude, we can totally have the pro life pro choice arguement anther time. I just want to stay focused on this topic. Oh and thanks for not being so far out there on this one. Rabbi on the other hand is just ******* nuts.

I am still wating to see his response to the question...if the 10 year old gave birth and it was said she would die because of it, is abortion justified then?

Pro lifers are all about the life...I get that. Most say, rape, incest, health of the mother are exceptions. Rabbi is way way way out there.

Ever hear of thoes few words:

Separation of church and state?
yes
and how does that infringe?
it doesnt

Really? You don't think a politician saying "god has a plan" is a problem in reference to influencing laws or how she is thinking?

interesting.

Why should I have a problem with a politician saying that? Did you see me complaining about Keith Ellison getting elected? He certainly believes God has a plan, as Islam is about nothing more than surrendering your life to that plan. My question is, why do you have a problem with it?

I have no problem with anyone, including politicians, having a religious viewpoint until, and unless, they start trying to infringe on my right to have a religious viewpoint that is different than theirs.

So I repeat, has she said, or indicated, that she will attempt to regulate and impose her personal religious views upon you, or anyone else? You seem to be the one who wants to impose your views on other people here, at least those who are running for office.

If you don't like her views, do not vote for her. If you do not live in Nevada than her views are of no consequence to you. I can point to dozens of Roman Catholic politicians who have exactly the same views she does, and will not hesitate to say so, who still vote a pro abortion stance. I don't know why you have some type of problem with her and not those people.

Lets see, this thread is about what angle had to say to a specific hypothetical situation. So what i say is directly pointed at her. The thread was not about politicians who are not pro choice or how they may vote one way or the other.

I am not trying to impose my views on anyone nor am i trying to change anyone. I am giving my opinions and views on a topic of conversation.

I have a problem with ANY politician voicing the idea "god has a plan" If that is what they think, fine. That is their opinion. When they can influence laws that effect the general population and use those beliefs, then i have a problem with it. Again, my opinion, of which many may disagree.;).

Just as you say, I will never vote for any politician who does claim "god has a plan" I believe in separation of church and state.

You cannot point to any posts I made about them. I will say that anyone who sits in a church for 20 years, calls the pastor his spiritual father, and then claims he never heard him say anything racist, is an outright liar. That makes my problem with Obama, not Wright.

As far as Ayers goes, it is pretty obvious to anyone who is honest that Obama lied about that too. I guess I just have a problem with anyone lying to me, including politicians that I expect to lie.

No, what they really want is for women to actually be more responsible for their decisions regarding birth control.

Everyone can use their opinion to influence laws that affect the general population, including that guy in Mumbai who thinks the universe is in his colon. Until they start trying to take away my right to have my opinion I will have no problem with them having that opinion, or even with them speaking it, even if they are the president of the US. That is what free speech and and freedom of religion is really about.

I wonder why it takes 6 years of waiting to adopt then.

there are plenty of kids available for adoption...people want male white infants...

This is a stupid comment. If that were true, they wouldn't go out of the country seeking adoptable children of other races.

The guy is a moron. US citizens adopt more Babies from around the world each year, Of every race and creed than every other nation on earth combined.
