Quick question on AC

Wow.. We think alike. In our family, if we're driving on weekends, those trendy NPR shows where they try to analyze each others feeling for HOURS using the same meaningless phrases over and over again just crack us up. I mean literally losing control of vehicle kind of laughter.
For some reason, my hubby used to listen to NPR in the car, but he was intelligent enough to change the station whenever I was in the vehicle.

No accounting for taste.

A few hours a week at my computer I like to block out the outside noise

I sometimes turn on the AC on and just let it run to block out the noise

Will this damage the compressor etc
Noise canceling headphones are your friends. Be them at the office or at home.
Some go with Bose but I've gone the Sony way and have a Sony 8950N1 downstairs to block out singing and or dancing shows to. At the office [no matter where that is these days, a Sony 1000XM3 does well but I'm thinking about ordering a 1000XM4 for extra protection
