Perhaps this best displays the comic inanity of Don's amorphous positioning.

Trump: unfair for Iran to lack ballistic missiles if other countries have them

PARIS, June 17 (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump said ā€Œon Wednesday that it would be unfair for Iran not to have ballistic missiles if other countries have them.
"I'm saying that if other countries have them, it's a little bit unfair for them not to have some," Trump told reporters in Paris.
"If Saudi Arabia and Qatar, and they all have some, I would ā€Œsay in relative proportion, I think it's okay."
Trump also said the United States would leave its military in the Gulf "for a while" after Washington struck a deal with Tehran to end its nearly four-month conflict in the region.

Gulp.

Trump Says Iranian Missiles Don’t Matter Despite Attacking Obama Deal for Allowing Them

I'm not sure this really needs further commentary. Except to say trump supporters unironically shaking their heads in agreement with both statements at different times is what would be fodder for a satirical skit on SNL. Obama........ballistic missiles terrible. trump...........ballistic missiles are only fair. Orwell called it doublethink. For trump's followers it's called normalcy.

The Orange God surrendered (a word Republicans are using)

The Core Claims from Republicans
A powerful contingent of conservative figures, commentators, and lawmakers argue that Trump caved on his previous demand for Iran's "unconditional surrender". They contend that the White House gave up too much strategic leverage for too little in return. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Key Republican criticisms center on the following arguments:
  • "American Surrender": Well-known conservative radio host Erick Erickson openly stated that "Trump has surrendered to Iran," adding that "those who kill Americans love this deal." [1, 2]
  • Reassembling the Obama Deal: Figures like former George W. Bush aide Marc Thiessen and Senator Lindsey Graham noted with concern that the framework mirrors the 2015 JCPOA nuclear agreement—which Trump famously tore up during his first term. Senator Graham publicly called the initial details "awful" and expressed severe skepticism that a verifiable nuclear peace agreement can ever be reached with the Iranian regime. [1, 2, 3, 4]
  • "Worst Foreign Policy Blunder in Decades": Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy harshly condemned the deal, stating that "Reagan is rolling over in his grave." Cassidy pointed out that before the war, Iran was being crushed by sanctions, but under the new agreement, sanctions will be lifted, and Iran's nuclear ambitions remain uncurbed. [1]
  • The $300 Billion Reconstruction Fund: Lawmakers like North Carolina Senator Thom Tillis expressed sharp concern over Vice President JD Vance's confirmation that the agreement paves the way for a $300 billion fund to finance Iran’s recovery. [1, 2, 3]

"Welcome to 'The Daily Bullshit', where a TDS obsessed crackpot gets to vent his spleen every single day. Be advised you will be bored by long cut and paste posts that will not interest you in the slightest. Thank you for listening!"

Interesting to watch this. As usual, perceptions are split with MAGA in its own world, and the rest of the country/planet in another world. But this time, even many of the shameless, craven congressional Republicans who have bent over for Trump for so long are finally showing some spine. They have known better, all along.

The cult continues to fray at the edges. A slow process is probably the best we can hope for (that's how cults are), but I will certainly take this.

Trump tossed another shiny object for the leftwingers to jump after.

I take heart in knowing the trumples who post here are the most inured to facts, most blindly devoted to their Dear Leader, most in denial of demonstrable truth. Nonetheless, they are an enormous burden on the country.

As I said on another thread, either you are trolling or you're the most misinformed, gullible, easily manipulated, weak-minded human on the planet.

Cassidy, Tillis, Greene, and Massie. Sour grapes. Voters booted them out because voters agree with Trump.

Everybody on the planet is happy right now except you leftwingers. The pope is applauding the Trump deal. You wanted the war to continue. You put power above the lives of people involved in a war.

Now the Orange God Emperor agrees with the shitlibs, and still gets hated on.

As though we needed any more evidence that the moonbats are entirely bereft of any rationality and a moral compass.
We just faught a war, killed hundred if not thousands of people, spent billions of dollar and committed to spend more, raised inflation through the roof, hiked gas preices to historic highs, only for him to back down?

And you're OK with this?

Inflation is not even half as high as it was under Biden.

You're the one in denial, claiming Iran won the war.

To be specific, Cassidy, Tillis, and Massie were voted out by R primary voters. Those most likely to be in trump's cult. It's telling those former candidates now feel at liberty to speak the truth about Don now that they don't have to solicit the votes of deluded MAGAist's.

No, we’re just not going to ā€œbend a kneeā€ to your bull shit.

So, tell us berg, what would you like to see happen to members here, that disagree with you?
