Not sure how this works….

Clearly, new spending amidst a high inflation environment is not going to help, and increasing taxes is bad timing as well. Can a newly elected Republican majority reverse this come January 2023?

Will is a better question than can.
What is the Republican plan to fix inflation??

And why do Republicans hate reducing drug prices??

And why did paying for the health care of Iraq-Afghan veterans trigger Conservatives so much?

All I see Republicans do is vote for shit then turn against their own vote because they don't a Democrat president to take credit for it..that is childish

Would the Inflation Reduction Act actually reduce inflation?

Marc Goldwein, senior policy director for the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget: The Inflation Reduction Act is going to help the Federal Reserve to reduce inflation. It’s not like it’s going to cut the inflation rate from 9 percent to 2 percent.

Neither Congress nor Biden can do much to reduce inflation. There are some measures they can take which would have a little impact. Such as ending Trump's retarded tariff war. Biden is still keeping it alive.

Only the Fed can have a significant impact on inflation now.

Obama and Trump and their Republican and Democratic Congresses overspent, and that has contributed to inflation. They cannot unspend that money now.

The Fed's ZIRP policy was also a major contributor.

As I've been saying for years, this bullshit pain avoidance by the Fed and our Presidents only pushes the pain down the road and makes future pain inevitable and even greater.

So here we are.

Nothing will cut it from 9 to 2% -- and Republicans know that -- they just hope their base is too stupid to notice when inflation doesn't go down under Republicans like they claim it will.....

If inflation went down 2% under Biden, that will be considered a failure...

if inflation goes up by 2% under Republicans, the spin will be, it would have went down more if it wasn't for Democrats...

How will it do that, dumbass?

Deficit spending is what causes inflation, douchebag. Congress can easily stop that., but it never will.

They are RINOS until proven differently. We have been lied too over and over. In a rough 50/50 fed government we have moved further left massively. There will be tens of millions dying because of these freaks.

Vox. ‘Nuff said!

The politicians of both parties are too lazy to do the heavy lifting which would actually improve our economy. So they cheated by massively overspending to artificially boost GDP.

The Fed enabled this crap by keeping interest rates artificially low.

Anyone with more than two brain cells could see this would eventually catch up to us.

If you are pissed off about inflation and the debt and want to punch the person responsible, you will find that person in the mirror.

No one ever holds their team accountable for their side's massive overspending. You have always been dead silent about it.

Trying to pin the blame on the current occupant of the White House is exactly what the assholes who are ruining this country want you to do.

Don't be that tard. Wake the fuck up.

You are worried about the lives of people dying because of a reconciliation bill??

Republicans LITERALLY wanted to strip away healthcare from millions of people -- and not once did they give a fuck about anyone dying..so spare me the hyperbole....

Demented Biden is working in OPPOSITION to the Fed’s attempt to tighten the money supply. He is pumping more money into the economy.

Honestly, the country would be better off if the Dems didn’t return to Congress for the rest of the year, and Biden didn’t continue to submit to the anti-American radicals, and Harris didn’t speak at all.

Probably not:

Reversal would depend on three things:
  • Republican super-majority in the House
  • Republican super-majority in the Senate
  • Republican in the Office of the Presidency
House:
A few months ago the GOP taking the House seemed a slam dunk. However newer polls are showing it will be closer than originally though. Likely the GOP will still take the House, but not by large numbers.

Senate:
A few months ago the GOP taking the Senate seemed a slam dunk. However newer polls are showing that is a much more iffy chance. Right now it's about a 50/50 chance that the DEMs retain control. So if the GOP does take control of the senate it will be with a very slim majority of 51 or 52. (Remember they need 51 votes as a 50/50 tie gets broken by the DEM Vice President.)

President:
The DEM President will veto it. Meaning that both the House and Senate will have to override the veto with 2/3's majorities. Not going to happen.

That's why the GOP having a slim majority in the House and/or Senate, does not mean it will be repealed in 2023.

Hope that helps.
