Pump prices set to rise as Trump tariffs hit Canadian, Mexican oil

It's called market volatility.

Trump creates a bear market long enough to make put buys, and clean up.

Then after a while, end the tariffs proclaiming a big victory, then make call buys on the way back up.

While everyone is distracted by the shiny things.

Just like last time.
That sounds like something Nancy Pelosi would be doing...not Donald Trump!

You’ll “know it” when you get the memo
Latest memo is tariffs on hold 30 days.

Latest memo is 10000 Mexican troops to secure border. Whether they stop drugs from the cartels.....that is questionable.

They also were committed to more than 10,000 troops previous to this

The cartels are more sophisticated than most people give them credit for. Some folks actually believe that people are walking hundreds of miles across the desert and swimming across the river with their pockets full of drugs.

And corrupt politicians stole the money with worthless IOUS
It`s more than that. Friends of mine adopted an infant from Russia and had no idea she was a deaf mute. They`ve been getting checks for all of her 30 years, a free car, and free college tuition. What bothers me is the fact that they can easily afford to pay for those things. I worked double shifts in a heavy industry to pay for my daughter`s education. No corrupt politician stole this money. If you know a thieving politician, call your Attorney General`s office.

“U.S. consumers will see higher prices at the gas pump from President Donald Trump's decision on Saturday to apply tariffs on Canadian and Mexican oil, according to analysts and fuel traders.

The likely hike in fuel prices reflects the double-edged nature of Trump's trade protections which are designed to bolster domestic business and pressure U.S. neighbors to curb illegal immigration and drug smuggling, but which will also run counter to his promises to tackle inflation.

The U.S. imports some 4 million barrels per day of Canadian oil, 70% of which is processed by refiners in the Midwest. It also imports over 450,000 bpd of Mexican oil, mainly for refiners concentrated around the U.S. Gulf Coast.

Tariffs on those imports mean higher costs for making finished fuels like gasoline, much of which is likely to be passed along to U.S. consumers.”

Higher costs for Trump voters, the consequence of their ignorance and stupidity.

The tariffs aren't in effect yet. You're probably too dumb to be posting on this board.
