PROOF! Liberal States Hate Rich People!!!

I thought it was obvious.

Based on the data provided, it is clear that traditionally liberal states are avoided by the most productive and financially successful Americans. What personally responsible, hard working patriot would ever decide to live and work in states with confiscatory tax policies and huge welfare programs like New York, Massachusettes ( socialist health care ) and California?

Liberals hate rich people...and don't want them living in their states! Duh!

Has it occurred to you that the reason the "liberal" states have higher per capita incomes could be due to the higher costs of living in those states as result of larger tax burdens and a more aggressive regulatory environment? When the cost of living is higher you have to pay people more or they can't afford to live there.

Furthermore, many of those states at the top have large metropolitan areas where businesses and industry have been established for well more than a century and have higher paying jobs. It's no coincidence that New York, Connecticut, and New Jersey are the top of that list with New York City and Wall Street right there.

Damned libs are so unhealthy too........

Rankings

In my observance the more politically leftist parts of the country do tend to care more about their physical health and appearances. Having lived in South Carolina for six years it was no surprise to me that so many people were obese seeing the kind of food they eat in that part of the country, sweet tea (disgusting!), fried food, gravy, etc. Southern food is very unhealthy and I mostly stayed away from it when I lived there. I heard a few people try to use the heat as an excuse for them to be less physically active causing them to be weigh more, but that is bullshit. I live in the desert now where we have 100 plus degree days regularly and that hasn't stopped me from doing four and five mile runs around my neighborhood quite regularly.

Connecticut is not the most indebted state in the country.

I read that on a per capita basis it was. Its very very liberal so it figures.
