Excellent summation, best narrative that I've seen yet. Based on what he said, if applied to the Byrd/Babbit case, Byrd should have been charged with manslaughter at a minimum.
This isn't even a comparison of apples to oranges. This is equating a violent insurrectionist with a state goal of murdering House/Senate members, attacking armed law enforcement who had their guns drawn and were ordering the criminals to stop or they'd shoot.
Pretti wasn't brandishing a weapon, unless you consider his cellphone a "weapon", and he was shot in the back of the head AFTER he was disarmed, and while he was on his knees and helpless.
