Stars and Stripes is reporting that Veterans from Afghanistan are now watching their sons and daughters deploy to the same battlefields they patrolled.

Years after they fought in Afghanistan, US troops watch as their children deploy to the same war

“When we started this, people asked why I was going, and my response was, ‘So my sons don’t have to fight this war,’” said Master Sgt. Trevor deBoer, who has deployed to Afghanistan three times.

One crazy war we started.
Invaded and destroyed an entire county looking for 1 man.
After a decade of searching, we found and killed him in another country.
Yet years later we are still there.
Go figure.....

We entered Afghanistan and I guess the money was so good for the rich and powerful that we never left....a stupid thing to do...trying to rebuild a nation that wants no part of rebuilding.....dumb....sounds like something a RINO Bush would do...oh wait....

It's a good point. The President claims to be determined to withdraw Troops from useless foreign entanglements but it appears that he is meeting opposition from congress.
