This is what I would like to see. A Poll Between Obama and a Statue of Abe Lincoln. Then let's see what the media says when Abe wins in a 61/39 landlside.

Too bad the election is still a year away huh?
I can assure you it will get worse. Obama had his chance, we all were pulling for him and he blew it

No you weren't. And neither were any of the right wing. Even before he assumed office, the right wing chattering class were hoping for his "failure". Demint was calling health care his "waterloo" and the Senate Republicans filibustered almost every bill Obama supported. They did things that were historical in congress, like yelling "You Lie" at SOTU speech. The behavior from the right has been despicable and outrageous. Even Obama's successes which should have brought bi-partisan praise got negative responses, like the elimination of Osama Bin Laden.

Most polls show a close race. And that's with the Right in campaign mode for nearly a year and with the FOX propaganda machine shouting "failure" every single day. Obama has been advocating for the jobs bill for three weeks, and most polls have him edging up. Additionally most Americans actually like the man..despite the very visceral charges from the right of him being a Marxist, Kenyan, Anti-Colonial (Which is surprising, because America was started by people who were Anti-Colonial), not loving America, and some other rather hyperbolic and disgusting "charges".

Once Obama is fully engaged in a campaign against "someone" (you guys are in Flavor of the month mode) that will change as well.

A socialist would not extend tax cuts, Sir. That makes no sense.

Ahem....

Perry beat no one but himself. Even Obama would win against Perry.

I am backing Romney currently but Cain is doing exceptionally well so far. I am watching him quite carefully.
Someone above said Abe Lincoln statue would beat Obama, I agree
Perry did not become the Governor of Texas by being stupid. he also has one heel of a track record. This country is looking for results from its leadership.
I have no idea as to why you think so little of Perry, that is fine with me. You think Cain and Romney supporters would vote for Obama if Perry got the Nod?

Taxes are for the express purpose of helping the society of the government they are payed too. (Well, they are supposed to be)

So I guess taxes are socialist to a certain degree.

Taking tax payers wealth with out congress approving and ignoring BK law and giving that tax payers wealth to a private company, to pick the winners and losers in a free market event with cash that was not his to be giving, Gm and Chrysler defined BHO
Tax cuts have nothing to do with a socialist event as that was

You cannot find a better definition than that, and yes GWB sort of done the same thing. It was his intent for GM and Chrysler to go chapter 7, at the end of the day he had no right doing it either
It was not his place in life to have went over what congress said to do. It to me was his worst showing as president

you want a dose of reality?
When I read something like this, I have a hard time understanding whether or not the OP is in full-bloom denial.

The reality check comes in the understanding of who was in charge of the House, Senate and the White House, while our economy was being imploded and the global economy was set on fire and left to burn.

Republicans, were in charge in 2000. Republicans, could have stopped their spending binge but refused to do so in the form of unnecessary wars, still unpaid for to this day. Republicans, could have done something about easy credit, but they were too busy sticking their own hands into the liquidity provided by China, Germany and Japan.

When it was time for Republicans, in 2000, to design an economic fiscal policy that would reduce the debt, balance the budget and create a sustainable economic growth curve long term, by doing the work necessary to build an aggregate based economy, they failed and they failed miserably to provide that leadership.

Now - Republicans, want the United States Voting Electorate to simply forget. They want the American People to ignore. They want the American Taxpayer to forgive. And, they think that main street should trust.

Forget. Ignore. Forgive. Trust.

THAT is the campaign slogan of the entire Republican Party for 2013. Forget that the allowed it to happen. Ignore the fact that they caused it to happen. Forgive them for not doing anything at all to prevent it from happening and trust them now to provide the leadership for cleaning up their mess, when they never had the capacity to clean it up before.

To the Republicans who now say Forget, Ignore, Forgive and Trust - some might say in response:
