The proper course of action is to get rid our of complex tax system and morally reprehensible transfer payment (cronyism) system used to reward Big Government constituents. Replace it with a simple flat tax for everyone. Period.

If you collect more than you pay in, it should be considered an entitlement. S.S. is a socialist program and no true conservative should collect it as a matter of principle no matter how much he paid into it.

Try moving to God's waiting room, Florida. They have no income tax. PA doesn't tax retirement income either. But right now Florida seems like the better option unless you like this GW white crap. I also here that 49 states have snow so that is no bargain in a state like Florida that is not prepared for snow.

I'll stick with California. Today will be 80 degrees like yesterday. Been to the states you mentioned. Weather wise, they're not an option for this retiree. I just want to be treated like my fellow citizens Romney and Apple inc. and claim I live in a foreign country for tax purposes.
