Wow. Talk about fireworks on TV. Guess what happens when Nancy Pelosi, always used to CNN agreeing with her, and getting her way, unsuspectingly walks into a firestorm of opposition from one of CNN's top anchors, Wolf Blitzer.
This is a rare video that will become a classic for years to come. The whole video is 13 minutes, but the summation of it is really in the first 2 minutes. It's worth watching the whole thing, though, and how obsessed Pelosi is, with having her position prevail over just about everyone (Blitzer, CNN, various Democrats, Andre Yang, Ro Khanna, Steven Mnuchin, Trump, etc)
Wow. What an asshat. "Dear Mrs. Speaker, can you tell us how getting NOTHING is better for the American people with no money to put food on the table is better than 1,800 Billion dollars?"
"Hi Wolf. I see you are taking sides with the Republicans. Wolf, I represent these people, you just don't know what you are talking about! We have SCIENCE behind our bill!"
"But Mrs. Speaker, can't you just tell us how getting NOTHING AT ALL for many months is better for the American people than to get 1,800 Billion dollars NOW and worry about the rest later?"
"Hi Wolf, I have science behind me, you just don't know what you are talking about. Trump just wants to send another check out with his name on it!"
"Mrs. Speaker, can't you just answer the question how getting 1,800 Billion dollars NOW isn't good enough?"
"Wolf, I won't answer that because you are not informed, you don't know anything. I represent these people and that 1.8 trillion just won't be spent right if we give it to the people because Donald Trump would get credit!"
"But Mrs. Speaker, when is the last time you had no money for food, were getting threatened with eviction, no where to turn, and there was $1,800,000,000,000.00 on the table---- $9,000 for every adult taxpayer in the country, 200,000,000 people, and it can't get out to the people because you are not willing to call the president and work this out because you say it isn't enough?! When is the last time you tried even calling the president?"
"Well Wolf, don't interrupt me, I won't sit here being insulted talking to someone who doesn't understand the science. You are ignorant of the details here how that money would be spent. We need to honor the people who have helped our country so much! I know what I'm doing, Wolf, I represent these people! I represent these people, not you."
