From the Supreme Court Confirmation. This had me in stitches. This man has better one liners than Rodney Dangerfield.

Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy Quotes

John Kennedy: Kavanaugh hearings looked like the 'cantina bar scene out of Star Wars'

"We all watched the hearings for Justice Kavanaugh," Kennedy said during the first day of hearings on Barrett's nomination. "It was a freak show. It looked like the cantina bar scene out of Star Wars."

The cantina scene is famous for depicting a set of wild and scary-looking aliens and culminates in Han Solo shooting a bounty hunter. The Kavanaugh hearings led to a highly partisan battle following a sexual assault allegation. Kavanaugh denied all allegations, and Republicans called the claims an effort to smear the nominee.

The Louisiana Republican also pointed out criticisms that have been made of Barrett, calling them "unfair" attacks on her values.

Consider for a moment that Barrett lied under oath, is this SCOTUS material, seriously. She knew all of this or she spent years in a cave. Sad another tool on the highest court.

"Kamala Harris delivered a blistering rebuke of Republican efforts to tear down healthcare and abortion access as she grilled Amy Coney Barrett, prompting the supreme court nominee to make the unbelievable claim that she was not aware of Donald Trump’s campaign promise to appoint justices who would dismantle Obamacare."

"Few American institutions have inflicted greater suffering on ordinary people than the Supreme Court of the United States. Since its inception, the justices of the Supreme Court have shaped a nation where children toiled in coal mines, where Americans could be forced into camps because of their race, and where a woman could be sterilized against her will by state law.
