"Genetic studies" that are worth less than the toilet paper I used to wipe my ass this morning.

No one needs any "genetic studies" to realize that bunch of russian, ukrainian and german albinos are about as semitic as Queen Elizabeth of England.

Just a pair of functional eyes.

You really have got to stop this idiocy. The genetic studies are real science, and just because you do not like the fact that Jews most recently from Eastern Europe are genetically related to Jews from the ME, doesn't give you some 'right' to toss those results.

Just because someone doesn't look obviously 'semitic' to you, doesn't mean they're not 'semitic'. Have you looked at some of the Palestinian and Syrian Arabs lately? Not all of them are 'swarthy Mediterranean types', yanno! If it's OK for an Arab to be blond and blue-eyed, then it's OK for a Jew.

Not to mention the 'semitic' schtick is one of the most ridiculous 'arguments' ever proposed. It is not up to other people to decide who is or is not a Jew: it's up to Jews. This is simply the same 'right to self-determination' that you insist Palestinians *must* have.

And in point of fact, I believe Liz is considered to be a descendant of the Exilarch of Babylon.......just like my son : ))

Of the Mandate of Palestine: (Close Approximation)
  • 77% of the Mandate Territory went to form the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
  • 12.7% of the Mandate Territory went to form the State of Israel.
  • 10.3% of the Mandate Territory went to form the Arab State (rejected).
So, a total of 87.3% was partitioned to form Arab States.

there was never an intent to turn palestine and transjordan into a jewish home.

as you can see inthe sykes pivot map, only palestin was meant for a jewish home and this was to end at the river and not even touch the negev desert.

but then the british realized that the arabs of palestine refused to be treated like garbage and trash and demanded their rightsa in palestine be respected.

so the UN agreed and decided to split palestine into two states.

but they gave 35% of the population 60% of the land!!!!!!!!!

what happened to justice? what happened to fairness?

what happne to the promise to the non-jews made in the balfour declaration and palestine mandate??????

And even were the above the historical truth, why should the Jews now be made to suffer for the decisions of the British? That doesn't seem like justice OR fairness......

u havde a problem with righting a historical wrong?

the 181 partition plan was a great injustice.

now the arabs have even less than the west bank.

they deserve the west bank. justice agrees.

You are the only person who thinks that. Listen to those older and much wiser than you. You could learn a lot. Then perhaps you will admit we were right all along.

you have no facts only insults.

the arabs made up 66% of the population from the river to the sea.

they deserved 66% of the land.

antics lke lying about palestine mandate and promises of the balfour declaration is why peace is so hard.

Oh? Just what did the Arabs do to 'deserve' it?

Why was 181 'a great injustice' - what about it was in error?

And again, why do you say 'deserve'??? That makes no sense .........

Oh? Just what did the Arabs do to 'deserve' it?

balrour declaration, san remo conference resolution and palestine mandate promised fair treatmentr to arab palestinians and no discrimination against tgheir civil rights.

So, does that amount to apportioning the Mandate strictly proportional to numbers? Where does it say so?

So, does that amount to apportioning the Mandate strictly proportional to numbers? Where does it say so?

giving 66% of the population only 40% of the land is very unjust and shows no respect for arab rights.

if the Jews were given only 33% of the land of Palestine they would have never accepted it.

Gardener, et al,

Well, you got something right. (Even a bling squirrel finds an acorn now and then.)

This is correct. And we've been saying that all along. The Sykes-Picot Agreement had nothing to do with the post-Conflict nation building. It don't even mention Palestine or the National Home. In fact, the Balfour Declaration had not been written yet.

as you can see in the sykes pivot map, only palestin was meant for a jewish home and this was to end at the river and not even touch the negev desert.
(COMMENT)

The concept of the Jewish National Home (either in the Balfour Declaration or the Fiasal-Weismann Agreement) had not been created yet. So nothing on either the Map or in the Agreement has anything to do with the creation of a Jewish National Home.

Again, the Sykes-Picot Agreement had nothing to do with the reconstitution of the Jewish National Home, and nothing in it should be construed to suggest that it does. The Agreement was over taken by events that followed.

but then the british realized that the arabs of palestine refused to be treated like garbage and trash and demanded their rightsa in palestine be respected.
(COMMENT)

Nothing of the sort. The Allied Powers laid-out the plan. The Arabs, while consulted, did not have a part in the decision making process.

so the UN agreed and decided to split palestine into two states.

but they gave 35% of the population 60% of the land!!!!!!!!!

what happened to justice? what happened to fairness?

Again, you guys get this wrong (nearly) every single time. Don't gerrymander the numbers just to get your solution. You guys know that is not how the numbers fell out.

“Population — The figures given for the distribution of the settled
population in the two proposed States — are approximately as
follows:
----------------------------Jews
-----------------------------------------------Arabs
---------------------------------------------and others
------------------------------------------------------------------Total
The Jewish State..........498,000............ 407,000............ 905,000
The Arab State............. 10,000............ 725,000............ 735,000
City of Jerusalem......... 100,000............ 105,000............ 205,000

Those as well were overtaken by Arab inspired uprising and wars. The Arab-Palestinian essentially shot themselves in the foot (both feet); let themselves heal, only to shoot themselves in the feet several times more.

Ha ha ha. As usual these IslamoNazi supporters want it both ways, first he says Jordan wasn't part of the mandate (which it clearly was) and then he says Palestinian population was 1.2 million....YA and that includes the ones in Jordan, of which about 700,000 to 800,000 lived and ended up there! So which it? OMG what a dork.

This is why they will never have a state or be considered a legitimate people. Because they can't even decide which lie to promote. In the middle of one lie they start another one, that discredits the first lie!

The 'question' in bold above is an unwarranted assertion: I have taken no position againt 'righting a historical wrong' as alleged.

I am still trying to have it established that there was a 'historical wrong' done (only) to the Arabs: it's not possible for me to 'have a problem' with something that hasn't yet been described nor defined.

You have given no valid reason or proof as to why the arabs deserve the land except in your own mind. If they had thought the land was rightfully theirs they would have formed a government, declared a state and defined borders when they had no opposition. They were offered a state. They declined and started a war instead. They lost. You have lost. Have the decency to admit it.
