North Korea will never actually USE their nukes because the FAT Kim Jong is in reality ,more concerned about maintaining his fabulously kushy life style. Keeping his people fearful of the ever impending war.. is his only tool in keeping them loyal and obedient.

It's not the only tool. After acquiring nukes and making mutually profitable alliance with Russia (effectively lifted sanctions) the quality of life of ordinary Koreans had increased tremendously. That's the main reason for them be happy and loyal.

He is probably hooked on watching South Korean TV dramas... why would he want to destroy them?

Now they've even removed the State's Goal about rejoining with Southern Korea from their Constitution. With nukes they feel themselves quite safe and can decrease military expenses.

Now Iran on the other hand is a much different story. If you are really that ignorant of what motivates radical Islamists ..VS self serving narcisists like Putin and Jong... then it cannot be explained to you. You wont believe it anyway.

As if top politician clowns (anywhere in the world, including America, Europe and Africa) can be anything else that egocentric narcissists. Being an actor demand to be a hysteroid narcissist, and if you are a top clown - it takes to be the most egocentric narcissists in the circus. Doesn't matter what specific role he or she is playing - "Old Demential Clown, Shaking Hands with Ghosts", "Dark Lord of KGB, heir of Stalin, Ivan the Terrible and Vlad Dracula", "Demonstratively Aggresive but Cowardish Red Head Clown with Empty Threats but TACO", "Religious Zealot, the Sword of Allah and Death for Infidels", "Corrupted Nazi, Stealing Innumerable Billions of Western Help" or anything else. Actually that 1950-1953 "war" never ended.
No official Peace Treaty signed and in place.
Been on a long-term "cease-fire" all along, means it could easily restart if the North ever chooses to.

But while North is more or less sure that restarting a war with the Southern Separatists may mean virtually total annihilation of the Northern Korea, and while they are sure that America won't attack them without really serious reasons - they won't restart it.
