So here is the current state of affairs with respect to the enriched uranium:
There is no civilian use for uranium enriched beyond 20%. None. Nuclear fuel is less than 5%, and Iran has been promised all the nuclear fuel it needs in the future, for free. The ONLY reason to have fuel enriched to 60% is in anticipation of making a bomb with it.
Yet the Iranians STILL insist that they have every right to enrich to whatever level they deem appropriate, and to keep a stockpile of such material at their own discretion. This is in violation of international law, of course, but only American violations are worth noting. It is a well-known fact that they envy the position of North Korea, another failed autocratic state, which holds the world at bay with its nuclear weapons capabilities.
So Bibi's statement (assuming he actually said it) is not surprising. Indeed it is fully warranted by the "facts on the ground" [I am coming to loathe that expression].
