So why is it ok for Israel to have a nuke but not Iran? M.A.D. (Mutual Assured Destruction) is the doctrine which kept the peace during the Cold War for 70 years, but in order to work all side need to have nukes. If it were up to me, there would be NO nukes anywhere.

The fewer the countries that have them the better. No nation truly wins with nuclear proliferation, even if allies. Even if our own nations have them (which Canada does not of course).

Since the nukes are already out, the club should remain small. If Iceland were to become a nuclear power we would not be happy but we would not be worried. If Iran has nukes there would be reason to be worried. Consider what they do to their own citizens I would not be comfortable thinking about what they might do to other nations.
