I started a profile when a few weeks back. Posted a couple times, but really don't like the format.I don't use it myself.
Really isn't a discussion site like this, but more of a drive by posting like Twitter. Haven't used it since.

Parler website comes back online with ‘lovers and haters’ note
“Now seems like the right time to remind you all — both lovers and haters — why we started this platform,” the message reads. Now seems like the right time to remind you all — both lovers and haters — why we started this platform. We believe privacy is paramount and free speech essential, especially on social media. Our aim has always been to provide a nonpartisan public square where individuals can enjoy and exercise their rights to both.
We will resolve any challenge before us and plan to welcome all of you back soon. We will not let civil discourse perish!
I did when they first started.I don't use it myself.
I quit about 2 to 3 months later.
I might join again after the dust settles idk.
I've never been on it; by the time I learned about it (here on USMB) I was too slow in checking it out and it was shut down. Now, especially since it was shut down, I will be checking it out lol I will make my own mind up about if I like it or not .I do not need a host to decide for me. Even if it's all one-sided, it should be made available if enough consumers want it. Just like LameStreamMedia shows, they'll last as long as cockroaches if viewers continue to tune in.I did when they first started.I don't use it myself.

Parler website appears to be back online and promises to 'resolve any challenge before us'
Parler has faced massive fallout the siege on the US Capitol, with various business partners cutting ties. It was booted from Amazon Web Services last week.www.businessinsider.in
That's good news.
Hope it stays online, in these troubled times one never knows.
I read that changing to a new host server usually takes months of planning. It's more complicated than just finding another host. And I heard Parler wasn't running all that smoothly before... I read several people who were moving there from twitter and were having a hard time.View attachment 444449AOL seems to confirm the above but their site seems already swamped. DOS attack already?

Interesting that Epik is denying any contact, though. Everyone figured that's where Parler would go.

I agree that the world has too much negativity. The negative back and forth is tiring but there is some value to it. The "value" can be in somebody feeling extremely frustrated and they don't have a good, "tea kettle mechanism" to release their steam. I use yoga, music, and exercise as my release outlets, but some people don't use anything-I can't imagine I would blow up maybe and I consider myself relatively normal lolI've never been on it; by the time I learned about it (here on USMB) I was too slow in checking it out and it was shut down. The thing I don't like about those platforms is that they induce so much negativity into society. I hate negativity. It's just a downer. Whenever I read through them, and I have read through them, it's always just a bunch of people standing around waving their peckers at each other. Figuratively speaking. It's just dumb. Nothing good can come from it. Apologies for the crude nature in my language there, but it's just the way I feel about it.
The MSM, CNN, DNC, MSNBC, etc. know more about that. They have been spreading hate for Trump, hate for 'whitey', fear of conservativ thinking and hatred for anyone who even voted for Trump. You got some nerve coming here with that shit.Well, everyone’s glad conservatives are good to go with a place where they can spread their lies, racism, fear, bigotry, and hate.

And you're trying to talk about negativity without being negative! Lol!The thing I don't like about those platforms is that they induce so much negativity into society. I hate negativity. Get or give? Do they pay for the privilege or do they charge money for it? What's the house take? I assume “Parler” is a for-profit business, not a non-profit, after all.So the Parler employees get free lap dances as a perk ?
