Mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania without accurate handwritten dates on their exterior envelopes must still be counted if they are received in time, a judge ruled Tuesday, concluding that rejecting such ballots violates federal civil rights law.

Hell, inaccurate dates, no signature match, what could possibly go wrong.

Nowhere in there did it say they don't need a signature match. As far as dates go, if they are received on time they were obviously mailed on time, so what's the difference?

Yeah, I don't see a problem. I think whoever brought the Lawsuit just wanted some legal clarification of some sort.

The judge is violating the constitution, it is the legislative that determines the election laws per the constitution.

Article 2, section 1, clause 2

Here is the ruling for anyone that cares to look it primary sources.

There is also a discussion of the “Materiality Provision” in that laws that stipulate an action have to be materially relevant to the action required.

Since:
  • Mail-in ballots have to be received prior to the closing of the polls, and
  • Election office are required to date/time stamp each mail-in ballot when it is received.
Then the "signature date" is irrelevant to timeliness of the valid ballot being received prior to the close of voting.

Does Congress have the authority to pass laws on voting applicable to the state and how they conduct federal elections?

There was no ruling about signatures, but the ruling on the date is a good ruling.

They violated it in 2020
The sole path they had to execute their coup.

How is the ruling on the date good? Allowing voting before any votes are acceptable by law, allowing voting after the election as well?

If you could read you would know this only applies to ballots received before the cut off date. Thus it would not allow voting after the election. If they are received before the deadline, then the date on the envelope is irrelevant
