PA mail-in ballot rules

Nowhere in there did it say they don't need a signature match. As far as dates go, if they are received on time they were obviously mailed on time, so what's the difference?

Drop Box ballots have no postmark. Sig are not really checked....see AZ videos.

"In some fashion" Deep State judge ruled.

Did this ruling include those ballots or just Mail-In Ballots? And, was signature-matching mentioned in the ruling?

PA is up for grabs in '24.

Enquiring minds and all like that

There is no penalty for Election Fraud. Therefore it will continue like the 2020 debacle. Get any names on constantly changing voter rolls. Get ballots printed for any and all, dump them in drop boxes. Keep counting open till you are assured of victory. Many names re-used but since no check can be done it is allowed. See AZ results.

The judge is violating the constitution, it is the legislative that determines the election laws per the constitution.

Article 2, section 1, clause 2

212

Does Congress have the authority to pass laws on voting applicable to the state and how they conduct federal elections?

Thank you. Now let's look at what the Constitution actually says.

Which has nothing to do with voting. It has to do with the method of selecting the Electors for President.

Now let's look at what you probably were referencing which Article II, Section 4, Clause 1.

And it specifically states that or federal election Congress CAN set law for such elections..

Now let's look at 52 U.S.C. § 10101 - U.S. Code - Unannotated Title 52. Voting and Elections § 10101. Voting rights (Link below)

Which is a law passed by Congress under their authority in 2/4/1.

It specifically says (I paraphrase) that voters cannot be denied the right to vote on a minor error or omission that is not materials to the vote.

A missing signature date on the envelope is just such a thing when the mail-in vote is received prior to the closing of the polls and when mail-in ballots are ALL date/time stamped upon receipt.

Hope that helps.

How is the ruling on the date good? Allowing voting before any votes are acceptable by law, allowing voting after the election as well?

#1 There are not "voting before votes are acceptable by law" as each ballot package is bar/QR and can be returned within the voting window. No ballot packages are mailed prior to their being able to be returned by either USPS or Drop Box.

#2 The ruling (previously linked) specifically required - as per PA law - that mail-in ballots had to be received by election day at 8:00PM. So it does not apply, nor allow, "voting after the election as well".

Did this ruling include those ballots or just Mail-In Ballots?

It would include drop box, as the election office treating them as mail-in ballots. That being they are required to date/time stamp them upon receipt.

Signature matching in PA was not part of the ruling.

I don't see a problem with this ruling. As the great Philosopher, Bugs Bunny once said, "What's all the hubbub, Bub?"

So what? This is about mail-in ballots.

For purposes of this ruling there is no difference between USPS and Drop Box. The election office data/time stamps all mail-in ballots (regardless of method returned - be it USPS, Drop Box, or hand in). So as long as they are received prior to polls closing, the signature date is a minor omission.

nice try.

Ballots are filled out. They are put back in the Mail-In envelope. They are not mailed. They are deposited in a drop box. Later to be mingled with all incoming ballots. Hope that helps? Should they be rejected w/o postmark date time stamp?

Even so. in 2020 the PA Legislator changed any rules they did not like at the last minute and anything was allowed thru. As usual, you have no clue....yet you spew.

And who told you that?

What does that have to do with this ruling by the judge?

You mean the Trump appointed judge?

More babble from the board MOD.

Peter Thompson is a judge of the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona. He assumed office in 2010. His current term ends on January 6, 2025.

Thompson ran for re-election for judge of the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona. He won in the retention election on November 3, 2020.

Thompson was initially appointed in September 2010 by Gov. Jan Brewer (R) to succeed Judge James Keppel.[1]

From 2007 until his appointment as judge, Thompson served as a commissioner on the superior court.[1]

***Anyone reading this with any vote in AZ, this judge needs to go in 2025 when his term is up.

Why do you keep talking about Arizona when this thread is about Pennsylvania?

Ignorant OX. A drop box ballot IS a MAIL-IN ballot. There is no other kind. You are not voting in person and walking out willy-nilly with a Ballot and hunting a drop box. As usual, you are just spinning and trolling (again). Some Mod. Just another board maggot is all you are. Feeding off the corpse of America as long as you can w/o thought of the consequences of your actions down the road for the Children of America.

Mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania without accurate handwritten dates on their exterior envelopes must still be counted if they are received in time, a judge ruled Tuesday, concluding that rejecting such ballots violates federal civil rights law.

Hell, inaccurate dates, no signature match, what could possibly go wrong.

People in PA should start mailing in their ballots with totally wrong dates, wrong years, no signatures, etc.!

Maybe they need to rethink and fix these "civil rights" laws. No one has a "right" to cast an illegal ballot.

Legalized Dem ballot box stuffing, was it a Dem judge?
