And what was the history of union busting when they first started to form unions?

Too many unions today have forgotten why they were established in the first place. The way things are going, they will be reminded again as the Corporations become once again the Gods of the market.

Your unions - I think it was Gompers who did it - specifically rejected a Left ideology. So what's the outcome? Your unions ape the employers. Rapacious capitalism is met with rapacious unionism and you wonder why?

If your unions had a socialist ideal they'd have something beyond mere power to strive for. Suck it up, you made your choice to have business unions.
