Our Solar/Alt Energy Future

You think solar panels don't work on cloudy days. Like I said, you're a dumbass.

The most efficient solar panels are 22.8% efficient on a sunny day. Have you ever been in a country that experiences monsoon season ? I have and it isn't just a cloudy day you idiot it's weeks of rain and heavy overcast when it's not pouring down.

Maybe you shouldn't call others dumbass especially when you can't seem to think for yourself or exercise critical thinking skills.

So, on those days you use traditional power, derived from petroleum.

Why are you wingnuts so fucking thick?

"Efficient" compared to what? A black box? Have something that produces more electricity per square foot of (freely) available sunlight? If not, why not just STFU already.

Like spewing and basking in BS? Here's some old "news" to warm your sweaty, twisted panties:

Regardless of their so-called "efficiency," solar panels just sit there. Like Terminators. They don't listen. They can't be bargained with. They require no input from you. No work. No fuel. At all. At all.

One day, every day, they just reach down your throat and electrify your heart. You're left sitting there in your garbage truck, stammering:
"What the hell?"
"What the hell?"

Right a panel that's not even on the market yet and hasn't even started production. Anyway I'm calling bullshit there is no fucking way it's 100% efficient that just not possible. Look up the 2nd law of thermodynamics you dumb bastard. You got suckered.

Where does he say it is 100% efficient? And solar is now the least expensive way to generate electricity. Not only that, but today more solar is being installed than any other way of producing electricity.

After I introduce that link as "BS".. the man ("dumb bastard"?) concludes "I'm calling bullshit."
..What the hell?
..What the hell?

You may be Old
I may be Nuts
Then there's Really Slow! :auiqs.jpg:

Back to the topic: "Our Solar/Alt Energy Future"

Solar remains our primary energy source. Nothing "Alt" about it in reality, thank goodness. Fossil fuels are solar sourced ultimately. Hydroelectric -- same. That leaves nukes as our only theoretical "alternative" at the moment.

According to Google: The IAEA says:
"Nuclear energy is a form of energy released from the nucleus, the core of atoms, made up of protons and neutrons."

and The World Nuclear Association states:
"Exploring the nature of the atom. Uranium was discovered in 1789 by Martin Klaproth, a German chemist, and named after the planet Uranus."

That's funny. Then the National Geographic Society opines:
"Nuclear energy can be used to create electricity, but it must first be released from the atom."

And we're back to square one. Say we have an atom vs. the Sun. Which provides us warmth and power without having to do much of anything to it these days? See my point?

Are you on crack?

tax breaks on equipment being depreciated is a tax break, not a subsidy. And this tax break solar and wind enjoy as well.

Solar and Wind, along with Electric cars have been subsidized this year alone, to the tune of $1 trillion dollars. Not a tax break, but cash paid to them.
It's so nicer to have none other than Elon Musk himself kick elektra in the ass who claimed that oil wasn't subsidized.

Twice as nice to have none other than Elon Musk himself kick the asses of MisterBeale and sparky and others in this thread who claimed that alternative solar couldn't power AI.

Oh, big surprise, a welfare recipient complaining about the end of their subsidies.

If an industry is not profitable, it should die.

. . . not waste tax payers money.

Hahaha, a tax deduction is not a subsidy. This has been proven over and over.

A tweet or Google search proves you know nothing. If you like link to the subsidy, the oil specific statute from the government website

Include .gov. pdf in your search

That giant sucking sound is "data centers" being built for billionaires to crunch their crypto currency grifts/tax dodges.. bigtime in Texas now.

What good is all this crap? Can't eat it. Can't even blow your nose with it.
