So....even to this day you have a deep hatred and resentment towards frustrated lesbian women. When did you learn your teachers were lesbians? Did they tell you, did you learn this from someone else, or did you diagnose them yourself?

Actually, at the time, I had no idea what a Lesbian was... but later in life, you can tell the difference between a lesbian and a straight woman.

And Sr. Mary Butch and her cohorts were definitely in that category.

Now, the nice thing is that it's okay to be a Lesbian, very few young Catholic girls are signing up for that awful lifestyle.

That scene would not be funny if there was not some truth to it.

Yeah, but it's really funny if you grew up Catholic. I was at a meeting with a writing group I used to be in, and three of us were exchanging Nun Horror Stories over a few beers. The fourth member of the group was a Protestant lady who was kind of mortified by some of them, but we all had a good laugh.

Christopher Hitchens (and others) needed to do a better study of the story of Abraham and Isaac. Start with Isaac had grown to adulthood. Next, what was the sacrifice God provided? Perhaps the story comes across better in the original Hebrew rather than the King James English.

And Jephthah didn't butcher his daughter.
And the She-bears who killed those 42 kids who were making fun of the bald prophet were actually killing young thugs.

You really think Isaac's age was the issue here?

What makes that story truly effed up is that God would demand that kind of a loyalty test to start with. It makes him come off like a true sociopath.
