Obamacare overcharged healthy & young people that needed insurance to help fund the cost of insurance for sick people

As you must know, HC has become an enormous profit making industry. It wasn’t so 50-60 years ago and before.

Big pharma not only influences politicians, but also influences HC, science, big media, and medical schools.

No wonder HC in America sucks and life expectancy for Americans is falling, even though we pay enormously more for HC than any other nation.
It wasn’t? When were doctors and nurses not interested in making a profit for their work?

Wrong. And you really don't know what socialism is. Health insurance would cost less if it were paid for with our taxes. Medicare premiums are lower than private insurance for the same services. Medicare is socialized healthcare. Take the profit motive out of health insurance and it will decrease in price.
It is paid with our taxe, what do you think media and Medicare come from? The Obamacare subs?

Obamacare has wrecked the health care of Americans because it is masked socialism.
It gave coverage to some by raising costs on most other people.

In other words, what private insurance does.

Goddamn we are a stupid country. We have to explain insurance and risk pools to functional adults, like they are 4 years old.

No, it's called "Wealth confiscation" and "transfer payments"...There's a vast difference.
I pay way more taxes than you. You are confiscating my wealth.

How do you know how much another poster pays in taxes?
99.5% chance I’m correct based on just me. Anyone complaining about taxes is too broke to make a bunch of money anyway.

I have often found that people that claim to be rich on the internet are often liars

What do you mean?

The 4 year olds want gov't to take care of them from cradle to grave.

All forms of "insurance" work on the principle that most participants will pay without needing to make a claim,

Which was the point of the only Healthcare idea Republicans have managed to eke out of their brains for 30 years: the individual mandate.

Only now figuring that out, huh?

Um, that's how insurance works in general, not just Obamacare, but all private plans, which are also increasing in cost.

Was that even English?

It's an acronym that means, "There's no Such thing as a free lunch". Of course, no one said there was. We expect to pay taxes for these programs. The real trick is getting medical spending under control.

With an aging population and ever-increasing medical innovations, this is the real challenge.

Because we refuse to go to a single-payer system, we have no real leverage to control costs.

Right...Increasing in costs because of the expectation of 100% pre-paid medical, instead of insurance for unexpected maladies and trauma.

Except regular checkups aren't what's driving up costs, it's why insurance plans actually ENCOURAGE diagnostic testing. I paid next to nothing for my colonoscopy. Why? Because a colonoscopy now is cheaper than cancer surgery in five years.

Ha, I was referring not his acronym, but to his declaration of war on the English language.

Every iota of your politics is that of either the free lunch or the broken window...You neo-Leninists know nothing else.

People on "insurance" are expecting everything to be paid for, including regular checkups....Especially freebooters like you who want "universal coverage".
