...Almost.
In a faith-based conference call, Obama states some are "bearing false witness" regarding health care reform and that reports of potential "death panels" as an "extraordinary lie".
These words are of course directly aimed at Sarah Palin, who grasped the national dialogue regarding the Obamacare debate with two strongly worded rebukes of the plan's intentions - including sharing concerns over federally controlled "death panels" - those agencies set up to advise medicare patients with end of life decisions. Since Palin's well timed Twitters on the subject, support for Obamacare plummeted, and moderate Democrats quickly backed away from openly supporting the bill.
The White House and key Democrats then declared that the public option was likely dead, only to seemingly reverse that position days later - an obvious clue as to just how chaotic the Democrats are at the moment.
And so Obama has gone form attacking doctors, to attacking the insurance industry, and is now falling back on the Democrat tried and true method of attacking Sarah Palin.
Will it work? It should prove an interesting conflict...
