No One Knows Better

Uh, she wouldn't. Not enough to have a Chinese flag. Not ever.

But prove me wrong. Tell me what to ask her and I'll test your theory.
If someone came up to her and asked "Are you Korean?" What would she say? It's ok, I know you'll lie.

I won't. I will ask her. And I will report honestly. I will also ask her if she would ever fly or hold up a Chinese flag at a protest.

Why do you preemptively accuse me of lying? Is this something you regularly do? I am trying to have an honest and open discussion with you. Not cool.

There are now, and always have been pockets of different languages and cultures in the U.S. where a person can go virtually his (usually her) entire adult life without learning English. Their friends are all foreign, they patronize stores that are all foreign, go to churches, join social clubs, Watch own-language television, and so on. It is an inconvenience, but it is often the easy way out.

My wife's family of Italian immigrants - now dying out - included several Italian "Nonna's" who can barely speak a coherent English sentence, despite coming to this country in the 1950's.

One might say, however, that their cultures were compatible with American culture. They were Catholic/Christian, believed in hard work and even entrepreneurship, voted Democrat, and so on. I'm not sure the same can be said of Muslim enclaves like Dearborn, Minneapolis, etc.

I'm not sure the same could have been said of Jewish neighborhoods in NYC, etc. Yet here their families are, solid Americans. The Melting Pot still works well in America.

Despite what many people seem to think (and not a few here have said), native Spanish speakers in the US do not "refuse" or are disinterested in learning English. No one knows the crucial importance of learning English than non-native English speakers in the US.
Hispanics aren’t generally a problem. Islamists are. Regardless of generation

Jewish people didn’t force their women to dress like umbrellas. False conflation. Nor did they scream outside as part of some weird prayer.

Orthodox Jewish women have long adhered to dress codes. Go back a few generations, and Catholic women too. Clothing has always been a reflection of culture and identity.

They didn’t dress like beach umbrellas. Ever. Always had equal rights to men. Were allowed to wear swimsuits at the beach. Nor did they scream like primitive zealots

You need to study some history.

I am Jewish. You need to not tell me what I have seen. You didn’t refute the sounding like primitive zealots. Show me where Orthodox Jews disturbed the peace the way Islamists in MI do.

"She showed her knees on a Boston beach in 1907. They arrested her. So she turned it into a business empire.
Revere Beach, Massachusetts, July 1907. Annette Kellerman walked across the sand wearing something Boston had never seen: a one-piece swimsuit that ended in shorts two inches above her knees.
Her bare legs caused instant scandal. Gasps. Pointing. Within minutes, police arrived and arrested her for indecent exposure.
The newspapers would later report she was "denounced as a wanton" and that "dark prophecies were made as to the future of America."
All because she showed her knees."
