We are not relying on Chinese investment and nothing in that thread has any relevance to the discussion.
The USA is too politically unstable at this point, to be a reliable trading partner. Trump tore up NAFTA and all of the USA’s other trade agreements in his first term in an effort promising to eliminate the US Trade deficit.
As a result of Trump’s trade deals, US trade deficit has increased by 64% since 2016, No on being re-elected Trump tore up all of the trade deals he wrote in his first term and things are just getting worse.
You cannot negotiate with Trump because he’s never signed a contract he wasn’t willing to violate or tear up completely. It’s why he’s had so many bankruptcies. He cannot be trusted to honour commitments.
We can no longer consider the USA a reliable trading partner if they can just tear up alliances and trade deals for shits snd giggles. American voters are being manipulated by billionaire owned right wing media to vote against their own best interests.
We need reliable trading partners, not countries with criminal dictators and no scruples.
