Yes, voters mistakenly blamed the Biden/Harris admin for inflation and out of their frustration were duped in to believing the lies of a criminal conman that he had the ability to do something about it. Now they're paying the price, literally and figuratively.

Americans’ views on the economy turned more negative in the third quarter with deepening concerns about jobs, inflation and the outlook, according to the CNBC All-America Economic Survey.

Together with blame for the shutdown aimed at the president and congressional Republicans, those views dragged down President Donald Trump’s net approval rating on the economy to 42% approving and 55% disapproving.

The -13 net approval on the economy is the lowest of any CNBC survey during either of Trump’s two terms.

Imagine what kind of a life you have, to devote a Saturday to waving around a sign and stomping your feet, basically protesting a president who has decided to close the border and stop a flood of illegal immigration. I'm not sure what else they would really be protesting, and it looks to me like they are mad because Trump has taken away their future voters, and has decided to take a stand against crime in cities that have been on "team blue", as long as we've been alive.

That's not going to be an easy thing to run on in 2028.

Are you sure you were around then? Here's why Harris went splat:

1. She was installed as the party's frontrunner by fiat, not election. No voter had the opportunity to even cast a vote for her. As to why, see #2.
2. The party had egg on its face because it refused to kick Quid Pro Joe to the curb until it became so obvious he wasn't up to it that they had to act. They waited so long that Harris had no chance to look like anything more presidential than a placeholder.
3. The party spent big bucks trying to get TRUMP! on any legal grounds they could, then ran around talking about felonies when the average non-engaged voter looked at what was going on and asked, "Why am I supposed to hate this guy that much?".
4. Apparently, democrats have a skin color and gender problem because millions who came out for the old white guy refused to vote for the Indian woman. Keep in mind that Republicans wouldn't vote for her if she was a pink howler monkey.
5. Harris bought faux endorsements from Hollywood glitterati and voters learned about it before it was too late.
