No Kings protest Oct 18th

lol is that what your media masters told you to say?

It was a currency swap loan. Keep repeating your 10th grade level DNC talking points if you want, but you will be called out here on your BS.
What is troubling is the behind the scenes reason for the currency support.

News reports in October 2025 indicated that U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's efforts to provide a $20 billion financial lifeline to Argentina could primarily benefit certain hedge fund managers and other investors with whom he has close ties.

Pirro has done what she can to fulfill trump's goal of intimidating protesters in to not exercising their 1st A rights.

The U.S. attorney in Washington, Jeanine Pirro, has instructed her prosecutors to maximize criminal charges against anyone arrested in the administration’s crackdown on street crime, and charge them with stiffer federal crimes whenever possible.

Ms. Pirro held a staff meeting on Monday, as did her deputy overseeing criminal cases, to emphasize that going forward, there would be far less prosecutorial discretion to allow for charging lesser offenses in any case, according to people familiar with the remarks.

“In line with President Trump’s directive to make D.C. safe, U.S. Attorney Pirro has made it clear that the old way of doing things is unacceptable,” said Tim Lauer, a spokesman for Ms. Pirro. “She directed her staff to charge the highest crime that is supported by the law and the evidence.”

Without success.

In a closely watched case, a federal jury acquitted a woman Thursday on charges of assaulting a federal law enforcement officer over the summer during a transfer of detainees to ICE outside of the D.C. jail.

Federal grand juries had declined three times to indict Sydney Reid on felony charges for the incident. Rather than dropping the case, D.C. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro charged it as a misdemeanor and took it to trial. U.S. District Judge Sparkle Sooknanan said it may have been the first time any criminal defendant has been charged federally in D.C. with misdemeanor assault on a federal officer, WUSA’s Sophie Rosenthal reports.

While the case has widely been seen as an example of jury nullification, it’s more accurately categorized as on overcharged case. The evidence against Reid was weak, but that didn’t matter. Pirro had ordered her prosecutors to impose the stiffest federal charges possible during Trump’s retaliatory surge of law enforcement into D.C. Some federal judges have balked at some of the cases that have wound up in federal court that might normally have been pursued in D.C. Superior Court — or not pursued at all.

You almost have to feel sorry for the people at these events. Its the dumbest of the dumb.
It gets really funny when people start interviewing these morons at these protests and they have absolutely no idea how to respond to the easiest of questions, then they start spewing buzzwords like patriarchy and oppression. Lefties love to get in front of cameras and demonstrate how stupid they really are. The jokes basically write themselves.

Sounds like an incredible waste of time carrying signs and yelling at strangers.

Oh well, it makes the unproductive feelz productive.

I get to replace the wifes brakes on Saturday.
The Queen needs her ride fixed.
That is closer to the real royalty in our nation.
Plus it's doobie money.

1. The thread is about the protests.
2. TRUMP! is no king.
3. TRUMP! doesn't want to be a king.
4. TRUMP! is not going to be a king.
5. America has never had a king.
6. America will not have a king.

Need I go on?
No Kings is about #3 being false. Therefore, it has to be about Trump, not the people that might be there.

They call it a "No Kings" event.

I call it a loser's convention. We don't have a king in this country and if we did, these protests wouldn't be allowed at all.

Personally, I'd rather watch paint dry.

Imagine what kind of a life you have, to devote a Saturday to waving around a sign and stomping your feet, basically protesting a president who has decided to close the border and stop a flood of illegal immigration. I'm not sure what else they would really be protesting, and it looks to me like they are mad because Trump has taken away their future voters, and has decided to take a stand against crime in cities that have been on "team blue", as long as we've been alive.

That's not going to be an easy thing to run on in 2028.

If we had a King, these idiots wouldn't be able to protest.

Morons.

They had a chance a few months ago and sent one of the democrats' best and brightest into early retirement.

It's total nonsense. TRUMP! does not want to be a king.
Do you recognize he is attempting to expand presidential powers in ways that are unconstitutional?

Anything like that will be adjudicated in the courts. At this point, him simply breathing has become grounds for a lawsuit.
