What the hell does the "right to unionize" have a god damn thing to do with the lazy union basters on strike who want food stamps?

Cant you even stick with your own damn topic without shitting all over the thread with your bad shit crazy jabbering?

why are they making a law to punish poor people who try to unionize?

ThinkProgress » Buried Provision In House GOP Bill Would Cut Off Food Stamps To Entire Families If One Member Strikes

Want to talk about class warfare?

The republicans in congress have written into a bill a provision that anyone related to a striking worker will have their food stamps taken away.

So a single Mom can have her food stamps taken away for trying to strike for enough pay to get off of food stamps.

The right is full on against ANY workers rights.

Why do they hate the vast majority of Americans?

So you are implying that with out striking they are not making enough and need food stamps? Yeah right. lol.

Working poor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Roflmao you are so full of shit dude.

I am not in a union, and between me and my wife we made less than 40k last year, and still we do not qualify for food stamps.

yet now you want my tax dollars to go to fund food stamps for people on strike? No ******* way lol.

If you choose not to work, not only should you lose your job and be replaced by someone who does want to work but you should get absolutely no government assistance. Period.

why are they making a law to punish poor people who try to unionize?

So taking foodstamps away from people who are able to work, but flat out refusing to work is punishing people who unionize? And yet taking money from the taxpayers who worked hard for every penny they have isn't punishing them for their success?

:cuckoo:

The American people dont agree with your crazy idea

why are they making a law to punish poor people who try to unionize?

Because idiot, striking a CHOICE. They have not been fired or laid off. They choose not to work and collect a pay check.

There are consequences to your actions. You don't show up at your job for whatever reason..that is on you. I hope they lose their homes, go into bankruptcy and starve to death. And it will BE all THEIR OWN fault.

Why should a worker who has decided with their fellow workers to go on strike be punished for their decision by the government?

It is not the governments place to punish them for acting in a legal manner?

You really think you're clever doncha?

You're dishonest and a little simple, but not clever.

Its a fact.

Americans have a right to unionize.

Would you take that away from them?

We're not, we taking away their food stamps.. :eusa_hand:

are you surprised that TM is being dishonest once again?

Comparing not giving food stamps to people who choose to strike, to taking away their right to unionize?

Nobodies right to unionize has been taken away, anywhere. Even in right to work states, the laws simply say you can not force employees to join a union, and pay dues, as a prerequisite to getting the job.

So not giving food stamps to a person who refuses to work and support his family is now a punishment?

So if I throw in the towel, close my business, and refuse to pay my bills the government would be "punishing me" if it didn't take your money and give it to me?

Yes taking away a service that is offered to everyone else because of a union action is punishment.

When a worker is so weakly compensated they can qualify for food stamps then they have a good reason to strike huh?
