Trumps mid term problem

Whattttttt????????... I heard Trump was at 100% approval.

He is nearly 100% with those that matter. Those with high IQ like me. Grifters (you and phony Middlers with TDS) or leeches (45%) are of such a low IQ, a short term gain on a asteroid to the fire pit looks good to you sapsuckers and APE IQ level.

This is just my summation about the upcoming mid terms. Not something I got off the internet.

I think it's reasonable to think that Trump is literally handing the mid terms to the democrats. And the reasons why.

Trump and Republicans Risk Losing the 2026 Midterms Over Broken Campaign Promises

Voters handed Donald Trump and Republican majorities in Congress a clear mandate in 2024: no new wars, massive spending cuts to lower costs, full release of the Epstein files, and cheaper gas prices from Day One. Fourteen months later, those pledges remain largely unfulfilled, fueling widespread frustration that could hand Democrats control of Congress in November’s midterms.

Trump campaigned as the “President of peace,” vowing to end “forever wars.” Instead, on February 28, 2026, his administration launched military strikes on Iran that escalated into an active U.S.-led conflict, with American casualties reported and NATO involvement. The war has dragged on for weeks, exactly what voters rejected.

On the economy, Trump promised gas below $2 a gallon and prices tumbling immediately. Pre-war averages had dipped, but the Iran conflict spiked crude to $100+ per barrel; national gas prices now average $3.32–$3.84 and are projected to stay above $3 through 2027. Food and energy costs have followed suit, erasing any early gains.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act, signed by Trump in November 2025, triggered releases—but critics note delays, missing memos on accusations involving Trump himself, and incomplete disclosures that have only amplified scandal rather than delivering transparency.

Spending cuts? Absent amid ballooning deficits tied to the war and tariffs. Polls now show Democrats leading generic ballots by 5–6 points, with voters citing the war, high prices, and broken promises as top concerns. Historical midterm patterns and current forecasts predict Republicans could lose the House—potentially 28 seats—exactly as frustrated voters punish unkept pledges.

Very TDSly just won't quit once caught and exposed. Oh, you fooled a few on the board originally but those of advanced intelligence read you like a supermarket tabloid YoursVeryTDSly just a plain old Benedict Ahnold of the 2025s' lots of you in the media.

I no longer vote for either side of the Swamp Party but if I were still a Republican ... I'd be sweating bullets. President Netanyahu and Vice President Trump are literally destroying the world economy. Do you really think that the folks who trusted Campaign Trump will trust anything a Republican promises during the next campaign cycle? (Of course, the obedient cultists will but I'm talking about normal people)

When millions of Americans have to choose between buying a tank of gas or a loaf of bread or their electric bill ... you can bet that they WON'T be voting for a Republican. Of course ... voting for a Democrat won't be an ounce better.

Gotta go 5th party.

You misspelled ‘Denmark’ there….
So Denmark is the preferred oppressor?

Greenland has not been happy with Denmark for years. America needs to protect their sovereignty while putting their resources to work.

Greenland can decide. Even Denmarks government said that Greenland has a right to self determination, that is international law.

Have to love how everyone gets outraged at nations invading another unless it is a European country doing the invading.

They are free to vote for their own future via a referendum.

Democrats were already in a war with the Russia/Ukraine thing and were constantly poking the Russian bear, threatening WWIII.

Democrats don't want massive spending cuts to anything.

Democrats didn't really want full release of the Epstein files, they only wanted to use the rhetoric for political purposes. That's why they never released the files when they had the chance.

So, I don't really see voters concerned with these issues voting for democrats instead of Republicans. Democrats offer the voters nothing along the lines you mentioned.

So, any idiot from the right who would vote democrat over these issues is an idiot.
Wrong.

He needs to get Japan and Europe to keep their word and invest in America. They may not be doing so as they WANT Trump to lose the mid-terms.

They should have invested by now. If the Dems win, the tech industry is going to lose billions overnight and the A.I race may be in jeopardy.

Get closer to Japan, get S Korea back on board, negotiate with Greenland to join the U.S. If Trump had Greenland agree to join the U.S he would immediately be viewed as a legendary president. They took their eye off of the ball instead of riding the momentum from six months ago on this issue in particular.
Trump is not running in the midterms. Republicans need to be removed from the majority so a check can be put on Trump.

You don't get it. Greenland was never going to join the US, and Trump would not have been considered a legend if they did. If Dems win the midterms, the US is better off. The tech industry loses nothing; the AI race loses nothing. If Republicans regain the majority, we will invade Cuba and continue wasting money on the Iranian war, which will break this country.

TDS on full display ^^^^^^^

I haven't really posted a whole lot here because a whole lot of people here just eat up whatever Trump says as gospel. I reached a point in my life where I decided to not be a mouthpiece for what anyone else says and do my own thinking. Some people around here need to start thinking for themselves. The excuses I see from die hard MAGA voters is endless, when the simplest thing to say is just admit that Trump strayed from the path that was set and stop trusting him blindly.

The major malfunction is the overtime they've put into trying to remove the fiscally conservative, strict constitutionalist folks in Congress who actually adhere to what he ran on and who did so long before he ever came along in politics. They're literally treating these people like treasonists. It's like upside-down clown world.

It's a heck of a thing.

They will, of course, lose that battle (again), but that's beside the point.

The problem for you is are the democrats going to do any of that? Trump may not have been 100% successful but is trying. The democrats don’t even want to try.
