This site was recommended to me recently, so I thought to myself... "What a great way to relieve my family and friends of the burden of my more or less constant stream of political opinion". So here I am. 
For the sake of introduction, I consider myself to be a conservative Republican, bordering on Libertarian. I'm for upholding the Constitution, small central government, fiscal responsibility, low taxes, and federalism. And while I'm sympathetic to SoCons, their issues are not a political priority for me.
I voted McCain, even though I was among those who cried "Never" during the primaries, and weirdly... I've become rather fond of the old dog over the last six months or so.
(Honest admission... I'd have voted for a barnyard animal against Obama just as long as it wasn't a socialist barnyard animal. That helped.
