Republlicans, You can stop Lying to Black People

It's 2024 and no one really cares. Seriously. No one cares.
Yet, in 2024, the democrat that voted 5 times to make a leader of the KKK the leader of the Senate is president, calling his opposition racists. And if you did not care, you would not be here commenting.

It is more than obvious, the Democrats can not let racism go. They accuse those who are not racists of being racists while electing people that are racist.

We know the record.

Point number 1: Republicans authored an amendment making slavery a constitutionally protected activity. The Republican party is the party of the Corwin Amendment that would have made slavery constitutional.

Still racist of you. WHere is Lincoln's friend's clear statement

From the Frederick Douglass' Paper, January 22, 1852:

The Colonization Scheme

There is no sentiment more universally entertained, nor more firmly held by the free colored people of the United States, than that this is their own, their native land, and that here (for good or for evil) their destiny is to be wrought out. Identified with the entire history of the American people, going back more than two hundred years, this sentiment is natural and praiseworthy. There is not now, there never has been, and we think there will never be, any general desire on the part of our people, to emigrate from this land to any other and least of all, to the wilds of Africa.

Readers, he is at it again, trying to fool you.
One of the 3 greatest Lincoln scholars kills this myth quite well
Allen C. Guelzo
"The Corwin Amendment has been read by Lincoln-doubters like Daniel Crofts as proof that the president had no particularly radical intentions about abolishing slavery. (In Lincoln and the Politics of Slavery [2016], Crofts dismisses Oakes’s theory of “the scorpion’s sting” as taking mere “theatrics at face value.”) Yet, any reading of the Corwin Amendment underscores that it gave the slave South absolutely nothing in the way of any guarantee it didn’t already have under the federal consensus. Slaveholders knew that the Corwin Amendment was an empty suit that offered them neither the protection they needed nor the new spaces they craved, and they acted accordingly."

The First Amendment tells me this is the perfect country for me. So if you can't handle my using that rIght, you can stay out of my threads or you can move to a country without the first amendment. Because this ain't your country white man and until one of the true Native Amercan brothers or sisters tell me to leave, I ain't going nowhere.

The first amendment only applies to the Government.

Then why do you say “shut the fuck up, Lisa” when I point out facts you disagree with? Whites aren’t allowed to speak?

If your Democratic Party had delivered on its promises you would have equality by now. You can’t blame everything on the Republican Party. The first two years Obama was in office the Democratic Party controlled the House, the Senate and the Oval Office. The same was true with the Biden Administration.

As I have suggested before, the smartest things blacks could do at this point is start their own Party and don’t let race hustlers or corrupt black Democrats run it. You may not have a majority in Congress but both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party would do their honest best to find ways to get your Black Party’s vote on issues they want to see passed.

They don't need, nor want your racist vote. 🤡

In 1861 every single slave-holder in the country was a Democrat. I don't think that has any relevance today, but it is a fact.

In 1861, every single "white" person in the country was "racist" by today's definition. That is to say they all believed that black Africans were barely human, and unquestionably inferior in every significant way to themselves. At best, they thought that black Africans should be treated with kindness and compassion, as one would treat a domesticated animal.

For whatever reason, the vast vast vast majority of the descendants of black African enslaved people believe that they get a better deal from Democrats than they do from Republicans. And when it comes to getting "free stuff," they are not wrong. Republicans offer nothing to anyone on account of their race, gender, whatever; the Republican "promise" is that if "we" get our way, everyone will be treated similarly by government agencies and instrumentalities. We won't try to hold you back, in any way. But we won't grant you special favors or stuff merely because of the color of your skin.

And I think most descendants of enslaved people understand this, but they WANT free stuff and special treatment. They even want to be told the lie that "reparations" are open to discussion somewhere down the road, even though that is false.

While I don't really give a shit, it is tiresome, false, and slanderous to label as "racist" anyone who declines to offer you free stuff because of the color of your skin.

As for our "standard bearer," Mr. Trump, he is constantly called "racist" by the likes of our own IM2, despite the fact that they cannot point to a single statement, official act, or political position that could fairly be described as racist.

And so it goes. At some point you just have to admit that you don't give a shit.

Yep, it should be, every other race thread gets moved there. Maybe ask the mod that's already posted his hatred for the R's almost right at the very beginning of the thread why he hasn't moved it yet. :dunno:

if you cant handle his threads or dont like them, why are you here feeding him?...

No one really cares about 200 year old black hurt feelings. Continually relying on ancient transgressions to somehow create present white guilt is a very losing position. It's one that IM does continually.
