NFL PLAYOFFS ROUND 2 PICKS

So far at the end of the first half, the Atlanta / Philly game is close -- 1 point difference.

Both teams however look like they suck.

This is either because they each have great defenses, or else it is because they both indeed suck.
End of the 3rd quarter -- still close with a 2 pt difference.

Both teams still suck however.
End of the game.

Both teams really sucked.

But Atlanta is OUT of the playoffs.

And Philly will probably NOT survive the next round.

2-2 in the first round.

Philadelphia vs Atlanta - This is a tough call. The Eagles aren't the same without Wentz, and Atlanta stopped the top scoring team in the Rams. However, I don't trust the Falcons to sustain success. 27-20 Eagles.
New England vs Tennessee - Easiest pick of the week. The Titans beat a Chiefs team that couldn't get out of its own way. The Pats should take care of the Titans easily. 34-13 Pats.
Pittsburgh vs Jacksonville - The Jags defense is good enough to win a Super Bowl...if they can get at least decent offensive production. That hasn't been the case. 20-13 Steelers.
Minnesota vs New Orleans - Best game of the week. I wouldn't be surprised if it went the other way. However, I think the Vikings continue their strong defensive play, coupled with a surprisingly good offense with plenty of backup players. It will be close, the the Vikes take it despite a late Saints surge. 28-24 Viking.
Phili
Tennessee (Shocker)
Jacksonville
New Orleans
Well sealybobo you were RIGHT about Philly, so far.

Philadelphia vs Atlanta - After the Falcons botched the Super Bowl they shouldn't even be allowed near the playoffs. .
New England vs Tennessee - "Belichick's an asshole," a quote from my mom around 1994 as I mistakenly called home to Ohio while the local news was covering his Monday day-after press conference.
Pittsburgh vs Jacksonville - My son delivered a pizza to Calais Campbell's house during Campbell's rookie season with Cardinals.
Minnesota vs New Orleans - Was pulling for a Bills-Vikings Super Bowl.

(This is why I don't bet on sports.)
And you my2¢ were right about Philly too.

Well, I was 1-3 on the wild card games, so WTF do I know? Anyway here goes...
Failcons over Iggles --- Foles looks like caca the last couple games.
Pats over Titans --- Mariotta did us proud here in Oregon when he brought the Titans back to beat the Chefs. Don't see that happening against the Pats.
Steelers over Jags --- Jags will have to do better than 10 points against the Steelers. Don't see them beating the Steelers again.
Vikes over Saints --- Vikes crushed the Saints in the season opener, and I think they beat them again.
WRONG so far Borillar

Montrovant you are right so far too -- about Philly.

Philly wins

Gets winner of Minn/NO at home next week

Right now I figure the teams with the best QBs and playing at home will make it to the Superbowl.
However, I would have picked Atlanta. I guess the cold got to them a bit.

The rest are:
New England
Pittsburgh
New Orleans

I really like Minnesota....but New Orleans is playing really well right now.

Enjoyed watching the Philly game. Can't get into the Patriots game, so will multitask here listening to game on Titans radio network. Nice hearing ex-Cardinals coach Dave McGinnis who is the color analyst for them. Bless the internet.

After Bills and Chiefs defeats I pretty much have lost interest in the AFC. Just the opposite in NFC, liked all teams other than Falcons and Panthers. TOUCHDOWN TITANS!!!

End of the first half.

NE has scored 3 TD's and Tenn only 1.

The outlook is not brilliant for the Tennessee 22 tonight ... .

I hate to admit that Brady looks like the best quarterback in football history ... still.

I seem to have picked the Pats/Titans game pretty accurately. The Eagles win was lower-scoring than I expected; I should have taken the weather into consideration.

I should be 100% but I picked tn even though I knew that wasn’t going to happen and I would have been the only person to call that game. I wanted to look like a genius. Lol

I was pleased to be off by only a point for each team in my Pats/Titans prediction. I said 34-13. I was completely wrong with the Philly/Atlanta score, I went with 27-20. :P

15th post
Wow, the Jags are beating the crap out of the Steelers early. Did the Steelers not realize the Jags would try to run it on them?

Big Ben has got to be thinking about retirement now.

He can get his team to the playoffs but he can't seem to win there anymore.

The Jag's looked good. The conference game against the Pat's should be high scoring. That's how all of the Pat's games seem to go.

ATL had a shot...the last play(s) calls seemed off? Matt Ryan on a rollout? Big star falls down? WTH? On first down had Jones 1-1 on a floater.....then a shovel pass? Hello? Pete Carrol. Never threw to end zone to last plays from close? Only a couple tries?

TENN scored first, then it was over? WTH happened?

Blake B had a good game. Shocker! Rest of JV even better & getting better. Maybe just maybe give NE some worries?

Why does NO (all teams) not blitz and force immobile Case Keenum to try to move & throw? What do I know? I did not even know MINN had a roof.

He put up 42 points...I'm not going to put this one on Ben.
