Would you do to the Jews what Hitler did to the Jews? Notice he never called them Zionists.

Zionist is a very old term. Back before Jews could return or live in Israel, they longed to go home. It was their ancestral land. Today things changed. Those wanting to go to Israel simply board an airplane. But when the word was created, this was not the case.

Today's Jews are home and therefore no longer Zionists.

The term "Zionist" was coined by Austrian Jewish activist Nathan Birnbaum in 1890.

Nathan Birnbaum first used the word “Zionistisch” (Zionist) on April 1, 1890, in his journal Selbst-Emanzipation (“Self-Emancipation”) in an article titled For the Honor and Peace of Our People, to describe members of the Hovevei Zion movement, which promoted Jewish settlement in Palestine (Land of Israel) and the revival of Jewish national identity idsf.org.ilidsf.org.il+1. About two years later, he used the term “Zionismus” (Zionism) in another article, formalizing the concept as a political and national movement idsf.org.ilidsf.org.il+1.

Birnbaum’s coining of the term provided the linguistic and ideological foundation for what became the modern Zionist movement, linking the Jewish people to their ancestral homeland and the aspiration for national self-determination idsf.org.ilidsf.org.il+2.
In summary, Nathan Birnbaum is credited with coining the term "Zionist", while Theodor Herzl played a key role in popularizing it and transforming it into a structured political
