NFL PLAYOFFS ROUND 2 PICKS

Michael Williams is going to spend this off-season beating himself up. What a terrible, terrible attempt at a tackle. Why would you possibly attempt just a shoulder tackle? The only thing I can think is that because of where Diggs caught the ball, Williams figured the Vikings were going to kick the winning FG, so he was trying to knock the ball out with a big hit, believing that would be the only way to win. If Diggs had made the catch and gone out of bounds, it would have been easily within FG range.

Still, the Vikes had no time outs, if Williams had brought him down in bounds, the game would almost certainly have been over. There is no good excuse for that piss poor attempt at a tackle.

I'm hoping for a Vikings/Jaguars Super Bowl now......but I doubt it. :P

WTF happened to the best scoring defense in the league, by the way? Giving up over 450 yards and 5 TDs to Big Ben? If the Jags try that against the Pats, I don't think it will turn out as well.

I didn't watch much of it, but the Steelers were successful on a lot of their gambling going 4th and long; esp. getting that TD at the end of the 1st half! I doubt that's ever happened so often in a playoff game; not to mention the unnecessary onside kicks that failed! This loss is on Tomlin as far as I'm concerned! He made some bad calls; keeping it close on the ones that were successful by Roethlisberger! :bang3: :dunno:

Big Ben simply needs to pass the torch.

Same as Joe Montana back in the day.

The receiver was extended up in the air.......plenty of time to make a tackle and keep him in bounds....game over

Instead, he dove at his ankles and whiffed
He also took out the other Saint Defender
