When networks covered Trump all the time during the 2016 election they knew it was wrong but they were making money. They made the catch phases and one-liners seem like that was legitimate. I recall commentators saying it wrong for Biden to stop talking and not go over his allotted time in the primary, but when Trump did it last night they jumped him for it. The networks wanted to see 20% debate and 80% show, but not the kind Trump gave. In a lot of ways, they enabled him and theirs blame on both sides.

This is all bullshit.....They thought that by showing him, people would be repulsed, they were wrong....as usual.....now they try to hide everything and their go to Russia just got fucked, so they don't know what to dol......so they're on race.....which when people figure out the truth, they will run from that too.

No.....

Lordy....

Our politics descended from the landfill to the gutter when the blob got here. Once he leaves in either 4 months or 4 years...it will elevate once more--back to the landfill.

Trump is garbage.

Could you please give a few examples of the "one-liners" and "catch phrases" you are referring to, and explain to your fellow friendly forumers at USMB the reason you believe them to not be legitimate?

Sleepy Joe, lying Ted, low energy Jeb, etc. In a real debate, none of those should be taken seriously, but since that's what some people want to here networks ran with repeating it.
