What era was that? There was nowhere near the athletes that you had in the late 70s, 80s and up to today.
I lost interest in the early 80s. Now I find the games unwatchable.

Players from the 70s up until today are much more skilled and athletic compared to the players Bill Russell played against.I lost interest in the early 80s. Now I find the games unwatchable.
It was an era where the players left their egos at the front door. What era was that? There was nowhere near the athletes that you had in the late 70s, 80s and up to today.
I lost interest in the 90's, but, I'm sure it was for the same reason.I lost interest in the early 80s. Now I find the games unwatchable.

philly only lost 13 games in 67He played in an era when the NBA was a lot more fun to watch in my opinion.

I would have Tim Duncan ahead of Chris Webber.i'm not from that era, i would pick the flashy players anyway...my all-time 5:
Jason Williams
Reggie Miller
Larry Bird
Chris Webber
Hakeem Olajuwon
Tim Duncan is one of the most overrated players of all time...it's easy to do what he does...i prefer flashy playersI would have Tim Duncan ahead of Chris Webber.
He was a great scorer, good rebounder could block shots and played decent defense, though not in the same degree as Bill Russell or Nate Thurmond.Tim Duncan is one of the most overrated players of all time...it's easy to do what he does...i prefer flashy players
The 80's held my attention with Bird, Magic, Jordan and Dr. J among others. However by the 90's I lost interest as well.I lost interest in the early 80s. Now I find the games unwatchable.
No they didn't, you just didn't have the media coverage and social media that you do today. They were just as arrogant as they are today, the only difference was that the majority of the players were white. It was an era where the players left their egos at the front door.
Why do they always go to Charles Barkley for a quote?
