Native American group demand return of Washington Redskins...

Still a classic picture.
Several drooling leftists who have apparently no issue with the Tomahawk Chop during the Atlanta Braves vs Twins World Series.

Why even the racist peanut farmer joined in on the cultural appropriation.

No they weren't you stupid fuck. 😄
The name Uncle Ben's was supposedly inspired by a Texas farmer known for his high-quality rice. The company asked the head waiter at a fancy Chicago restaurant, Frank Brown, to pose as the face of the brand, which launched in 1947.Sep 23, 2020

Does it hurt to be the sites biggest dumbass?

Not to say there hasn't been tribes that popped up after casinos were legalized on Indian land, but as far as those 20 Washington State tribes, they have been around for way before the white man showed up. Yes, they are all related to each other, but tribes had inner conflicts & some bands broke off to form their own tribes/nation.. I am assuming you are talking about WA, not D.C.?

I was talking about nation wide, not any specific area. Some 'tribes' had to scramble to come up with enough members to satisfy having a casino.

Uncle Ben and Aunt Jemima were real people you dumbass!
Uncle Remus was a fictitious American folk hero for over a century.[/qupte]

Of course they were. Aunt Jemima and her family made royalties off her picture and brand name. they lost it when some faggots sniveled about her picture being on the packages.

I refuse to believe the Seminoles and Miccosukee are running clip joints.
[/QUOTE]

Indian casinos are much stingier in payouts than Nevada legit joints. Many of the casinos were run by organized crime managers, not Indians.

But like Deano said :"You know, them tables are not there for you to win. You can't beat them tables."

Straight up the tables are against the gambler. That's why they make money.

No argument there; I play poker, and with people I know aren't teaming up against the rest of the table.

Yep... you read that right.

The group...The Native American Guardians Association (NAGA)...is threatening a nationwide boycott if the team refuses to revert back to the Washington Redskins.

From the Article...

In a letter that addressed what the group called the “cancel culture” against the Native American population and the erasure of its “steadfast role in American history, including serving as counselors to the Founding Fathers in the creation of the U.S. constitution.”

The letter talked about the history of the Washington football team and it’s relationship with the Native American community dating back to its 1933 season when they were named the Boston Redskins.

Most Native Americans were proud of the Redskins name. It was white liberals that fought for a name change.

I am part native American these names do not offend me. That is just one man's opinion. Can't speak for the rest.

My grandmother grew up on a Cherokee reservation in Oklahoma. Didn't have anything good to say about them though; she left at 4 o'clock in the morning of her birthday when she turned old enough to get legal employment and walked on foot to Wilburton, got a job, and never looked back.

Leftist fucktards weren't even a thing in America then.

I liked Carter as a man, but he was a terrible president.

He had a lot of bad policies, one good thing he did was try to stop Congress from getting corrupted like it is right now,

but that didn't work.

Until Obama and Biden said "Here, hold Mike's dick and this little girl for me to grope."

And were worse than Carter.

For a small sample, google up Jack Abramoff; he was a central player is some of the casino scandals.

Yeah, because I looked it up because dipshit was like "What tribe"? (for Washington) And OMG, 20 tribes! :aargh:

There's 3 tribes in my state. Just 3, and they're all related, but different.

FSU sports team claims one of them.

Minorities are more likely to be Democrat than Republican.

Uncle Ben, Aunt Jemima and Uncle Remus weren't real black people, they were caricatures in marketing campaigns.

I'm not with you you ignorant Bingo and I'd like to make that clear.
Aunt Jamima was based on a real person, Nancy Green.

Did you even read the wiki link you stupid fuck? 😄

Nancy Green (March 4, 1834 – August 30, 1923) was an American former enslaved woman, who, as "Aunt Jemima", was one of the first African-American models hired to promote a corporate trademark. The famous Aunt Jemima recipe was not her recipe, but she became the advertising world's first living trademark.

On the recommendation of Judge Walker, she was hired by the R.T. Davis Milling Company in
St. Joseph, Missouri, to represent "Aunt Jemima", an advertising character named after a song from a minstrel show. They were looking for a Mammy archetype to promote their product.

I don’t have a strong opinion either way. But I wonder how many of them do find ”Redskins” offensive.

It was Green's recipe. Anyone can edit Wiki, did you even do any research?

"You probably have never heard her name, but Nancy Green has likely been in your kitchen before. Green created the Aunt Jemima recipe, and with it, the birth of the American pancake."

Now, like a typical racist, you want to strip Nancy of her accomplishment.
