Very few schools are 2,000 students. How many police do they need? A reminder, every PoPo is one less actual teacher. How many police guard a courthouse?

Almost every school I ever taught in was over 1000 students. High schools approached 2000 most of the time with my longest time was in a high school of 3200. Police do not replace teachers. Where did you get the silly idea? <y extra-large high school had two resource officers and we were the only one in the county with two.

Metro Davidson County has been going downhill on a fast track since the city council has been corrupted deeply by democrats. The schools are trash. Antioch once was an upscale neighborhood out by Percy Priest lake and recreation centers. Now it's ghetto and trashy.

When the anouncement of "Ok, from now on, only two guns per vehicle will be allowed in the student parking lot."
Came over the intercom, that messed me all up. Not that I had guns in my car when I went to school, I rode a motorcycle, but I did design the 4-gun rack template, and I was making some monies by makin' 'em in shop class. Many vehicles in the parking lot had my work in them. My racks were the ones to have.
I brought in the felt. I only made one after that, for a friend's "toy" truck.

That would make for a very short school day as it would take an hour to get every inside. If someone wants to get a gun inside a school, there are lots of windows, doors, and other access points in most schools.

My Florida high school was constructed without a single exterior window in the entire building. However, because it was single story and spread out, it had 64 access doors. I know because I was in charge of making sure they were all closed! There were 4 main entrances with 8 doors each. There were alternate entrances on both sides of the ends of the school and a large number exiting the gymnasium. It was a security nightmare.

I once taught in a school with one entrance that was upgraded to bullet-proof glass. It took literally one-half hour just to get the kids off the buses and through the one entrance.

A lot of it has to do with devaluing life, promoting that it's everyone else's fault, no sense of responsiblty to themselves or others etc.

The Nashville school shooter allegedly wrote that his warped ideology was inspired by Candace Owens before he opened fire on two classmates and turned the gun on himself.

Solomon Henderson, 17, fatally shot Josselin Corea Escalante, 16, and injured another student before taking his own life during the rampage at Antioch High School.

The horror inside the school cafeteria unfolded at around 11am Wednesday and was partially streamed online.



Now it has emerged that police are probing a sprawling manifesto allegedly penned by Henderson, which gives some insight into the killer's twisted mindset.

Much of the writings center on the gunman being 'ashamed to be black' and praise the work of Hitler and the Nazis.

Under one section headed, 'Is there a particular groups or people that radicalized you the most?', political commentator Owens is name-checked alongside far-right influencer Nick Fuentes and YouTuber Mr Beast.

'Candace Owens has influenced me above all each time she spoke I was stunned by her insights and her own views helped push me further and further into the belief of violence over the Jewish question,' the manifesto reads.

Back during the S&L crisis when there was a huge amount of homes that were abandoned and empty owned by the bank in Nashville....Antioch was hardest hit by empty homes. Then these homes were very affordable and got bought up inexpensively by low skill/no skill workers who had jobs.

The entire area continued its decline by a liberal city council. The various police chiefs quit successively and repeatedly. Same with school superintendents.
Outlying counties remained extremely conservative and have some of the top public schools in the nation. (Merit pay for successful teachers and offering higher wages for teachers with proven track records) and indeed the property values outside of Davidson County have not slowed but continued to increase.

I lived there for 30 years until the pandemic. I know exactly what went on there.

Some dumb kid wacked in the head, got inspired by a video game and Candace Owens....ok....the kid is nuts and parents are very slow in his community to seek mental health assistance for their children.
